Location is very usefull. Friendly staff.
info on the location was sent to us via e-mail immediately after booking, so we didn't really have any trouble finding the hostel. the bathroom is great (however, it makes you want to use it longer than you should, considering the number of ppl). free maps at the counter, free slippers. free coffee was tasty.
considering that the hostel was initially a multifamily unit, there's not really much space (esp. in the kitchen). extra bathroom would be nice, too. i personally didn't find it a problem, but i heard some ppl complain about the extra fee for laundry (50 rubles or so). as many ppl have already mentioned, there might be some inconsistency with booking (for instance, too many guests for one common bedroom). any issue will be solved, but don't be surprised. finally, if you speak no Russian, this might cause a problem (not all the staff speaks English. in fact, I've only seen one person, so i'm going to assume that there's someone who does speak English, i just haven't seen them. or else why would they mention English- and German-speaking staff in the info?)
heaters are on the walls beside the bed. got thirsty
Not far from Moscow city center.
It was difficult to get into the building as no one was answering the door bell neither replied to the phone calls. Staff was unprofessional, smelling of alcohol and was very loud till 2am in the morning. The beds are half broken. Will never stay there again.
location and price
