Al Shohada Hotel  

The hotel was very clean. They provide in the room the below: -Free Zamzam Water -Free Tea and coffee with water heater . -Free cold refreshments. -Freed Fresh Fruits. -Check in and out were very fast (no form to sign). -The hotel is WAQF (endowment) to Shohada Al-Haram in 1400 H

-The Breakfast buffet did not provide 5 stars breakfast. It was more like local food. -The hotel was not very closed to Al-Haram. However, it is walk-in distance.

Transport to Haram was very bad. We were waiting for 30 minutes after every prayer and still bus was not coming and we have to take limosuine everytime

The hotel did not provide a kettle or ironing board which is standard in other hotels. The breakfast was average compared to other 5 star hotels. I would not recommend this hotel if you have young kids and travel to Makkah in busier periods due to its location and busy traffic.

The hotel is great and about 10 minutes walk from Haram. The included breakfast was great and with lots of variety. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Avoid getting the room next to the street as it is very noisy.

Very quick check-in, polite staff, They have the Best elevators. Complementary fruit basket in the room. Nice room service.

Toilet's exhaust fan not working, shower door leaking flooding the whole washroom. Breakfast buffet offered was very basic, not a 5 star food menu. No guidance reading material available, like tourist-maps, no bus timetable and location.

we request extra bed with reservation but when we reach the hotel they give us room without extra bed , we wait a while in the room after that they bring it but when they install it was not clean under the bed and they did't clean it. room size small

Proximity to Masjidulharam is a plus plus. It takes a few minutes on foot, but there are also free shuttle buses that may take a longer time to transfer you to Haram. If you have obligation I would recommend walking. This was our second time at Shohada Hotel, reflecting our satisfaction from the staff and cleanness, etc.

Very good location to Haram

Rooms area is good, and staff are friendly.

The transportation provided to guests, not enough busses provided to Holly Haram. There is a discrimination between guests in seventh and eighth floors and the rest. 7&8 floors are provided with vans, however the rest only ride busses for 30 people, which were not convenient. I stayed in other hotels with cheaper rates, thier transportation was very convenient and available all times. Another thing that my credit card was blocked with amount of 3600 Saudi Reyal after I checked out, I am not sure why this was done.

I liked the whole hotel, it is almost a perfect hotel.

Nothing outstanding, although the food was good.

Bed was not comfortable at all!!! I had to carry my own luggage when I checked in, because they were very slow and few staff available. The delayed Check in caused me to miss "salat alesha" at Alharam. which made me very angry!. Also no mini bar and no coffee/tea complementary.

Bad reception of reservation and cheating mr Amr did bad job regarding dealing with customers from booking.com they try to say it is butter to deal with hotel (there message) also far from haram

they have a shuttle transport tp the Haram around the clock , very nice reception and beautiful setting area with verarity of seating , speciay and colorful with a wide rang of pictures in the hole area

I found the room rate offered directely at the reception desk cheaper than the booking rate almost 20% less , no newspaper service to the room except for some with no explanation , the meals and room service charges are extremely high and it is much higher than the hotel range , expensive internet service.

The shower glass had a small opening where water would flow outward. Apart from this small flaw, the room was very comforting.
