Being an Intercon hotel, it is not doubtful for this hotel to have a very high standard in all aspects. Its a few minutes walk to the masjid. The room service was great and also the free Wifi. But there is one main problem that I listed below The main problem is that in all my previous bookings with booking.com the price listed in the confirmation email is actually the one you pay besides the additional cost if you used additional services. But i was very surprised that this was not the case here I originally booked for 3 nights for around 300 dollars including breakfast but they charged us much more than that. Their reply was that because we booked with booking.com they had to charge 15% more but I calculated and it was even more than that!!!! This was very surprising and unexpected!!! Also every service they provide room service, etcc they charge you 15% extra. If i knew that I would have maybe checked other hotels.

Location, standard, comfort and service. Only the LOBBY, it was small and does not meet the Intercontinental's standard.

The traditional Intercontinental that I'm used to wehether in Amman, or anwhere else. I love the place and like the personal. Usually this is my first choice unless the rate is too high. Keep up and best regards M. Ibbini

The hotel is good. Location is not too far from Haram and there are many restaurant and shops near bye. Breakfast is good and hotel staff are helpful. It is more as good 4 star hotel than 5 star hotel.

Prime location. Friendly staff including those in Bell Section. As a 5 star Hotel-Intercontinental there should be improvements. Like renovating furniture in the Lobby section/overhauling the Eating area and improving of and providing more choices for foods especially during breakfast.

On a pilgrimage to Medinah the foremost thing is nearness of the hotel from Masjid Nabvi Sharif. From this point of view this hotel very conveniently located. Breakfast offers variety of choices. Service level can be better.

Convient to the Prophet's Mosque which was our reason for being in Medina. The Hotel is not up to the brand standards of InterContinental. The furniture is so old fashioned, the bathroom is ready for renovations and the faucettes are very tricky to turn on/off. There was no pen/note pad by the phone to take notes. No creamer/milk with the tea/coffee amenities. I ordered three items from Room Service, requesting lots of ice and lemon for my sparkling water and Italian dressing for the salad. There was no ice, lemon, or salad dressing. There was however a half used large sized ketchup bottle, even though my meal was Chow Mein??????? The breakfast buffet set up was like something from the 70s/80s. The orange juice was indescribable. Even though it should have been fresh juice, we couldn't identify what taste it was (Tang, carton juice, we just couldn't name it) There was a piece of bread on the floor and the staff didn't seem to notice it. We literally ate and left. The hotel iron had a black mark on it and dirtied my shirt. I then tried to use our own travel iron but the plugs are different than in Mecca so our adapter didn't fit. After three phone calls and a visit to the Front Desk, we finally got an adapter after half an hour! Even though we explained twice we are in a hurry as we have to catch our flight. I would definitely look at other accomodations next time.

Very nice hotel,i went for umrah purpose.it is pretty close to Masjid Al Nabawi. Hotel staff very soft spoken, humble & gentle. Mr. Hussam Zido was very well behaved. Has all the features of a 5 Star hotel.House keeping, porters all r very helpful. I think they should lower d price a bit to be more competitive. Rest everything is good.

The best part was the room and comfort. The location was very near to Al-Haram and that make it perfect. That was a good deal against the cheque. Due to the location and importance of Haram, they should increase the serving staff at reception & other maintenance. I felt negligence for bathroom's maintenance, response to requests are slow and need reminders. Normally @ 5 stars, we dont expect these.
