Executives Hotel - Olaya  

It was my first visit to Riyadh and the staff at Executive Hotel welcomed me with a smile. Thank you for making me feel at home away from home. Best, -Dennis

Staff was very helpful, location was very good, they need to work on Internet better

Location is good. Breakfast was good value for money.

Staff is not kind and lack experience. Hotel is expensive. Rooms are not well managed and toilets are not really clean.

It was clean, central, its price level reflected the value I received.

Very nice hotel with an outstanding location - 5 min walk from Kingdom Tower in Riyadh. Suite price is only slightly higher than std room. I booked a Junior Suite & they upgraded me to King Suite at no charge. Room is well appointed with spacious bedroom, jacuzzi bathtub, nice view of main st Olaya. Breakfast buffet (incl in rate) was much better than I expected; it is a buffet with eggs cooked to order, not just continental breakfast. Big bonus: they allowed me to checkout @ 5PM, no charge (normal time is 12, they extended to 4PM right away; 5PM took some convincing). Airport pickup is SR100 (Jan 2012). Separate sitting area with half bath. Most of suite is carpeted.

Airport pickup driver wasn't waiting when I arrived but was there within minutes. Checkin staff was courteous but not friendly. King bed was OK; mattress was a tad on soft side, but not too much. Shower is placed along with jacuzzi tub, which protrudes from wall so difficult to stand under shower head, & water pressure is only medium, but acceptable. Although they graciously agrees to 5PM checkout, kept calling me to ask me to checkout. Minor note: water placed on desk is not complimentary. TV's (flat panel) didn't work but not essential for me. Carpet was a bit stained. Sent email to requedt conf # but no answer. These are mostly nitpicks but just mentioning all I can think of; none of them are show stoppers & hotel is priced extremely competitive for the area & I would not hesitate to stay again.

Trying hard to satsify customers

Worse Internet service inculding business center. Room service is very limited. Room full of burn spots.

Nothing but the location

The room price does not worth the services, quality of materials, clean,. All the furniture is very used and carpets are really dirty. It needs a renewal right know.

I liked its location and cleanliness

Customer Relations and front desk are not very friendly, and a very wierd thing happened that made me change my mind from booking there is that they charged only the first 2 days as per booking.com rate, then the remaining 6 days they increased the rate without prior notification, and when I complaigned they said that this was mentioned in booking.com email which wasn't and I didn't have the time to argue with them.
