Holiday Inn Resort Half Moon Bay  

I like the most the hotel location its very very relaxing ,the room view was a breath taking overlooking the bay;The food was delicious.It was a friendly atmosphere.I will do it again.

one of the things is room services it took them 30 min to deliver towels and to check the electric plug because they were not working and I needed to plug in and use my lap top. I noticed on the beach a lot of trash in the water while swimming and the moment u stand up i noticed a lot of trash in the bottom of the water,no garbage pins along the beach area and people rare not conscious about cleanliness the way they trash the place its ashamed,they should put signs to clean after them selves not to trash the beach.

Calm after 9 pm ...

Very crowdy in weekends due to outer visitors!! Hotel Admin allow huge number of visitors to get in, which leave almost no placse for residents to set around the pools !!!!!

The room were spacious, location ideal and staff accommodating.

Not at all value for money, cleanliness was average, food was not the usual Holiday Inn level and general atmosphere was gloomy.

The staff are very rude. Take ages when you ask them for help. They offered us an extra room for free when the hotel was free, then realised the did mistake and they woke us from sleep to make us leave the extra room The open Buffe is very expensive (150 SR per person) Bathroom was dirty, full hair on the floor and not well cleaned

Two things are the true positives the location of the hotel and the value for money compared to the other resort available in the Half Moon bay area.

Hotel at hte time of booking mentioned the room as Kig Delux room and which has a seating area with flat screen there was no flat screen in seating area. For some odd reason the Airconditioning was stuck on a room temperature of 25C no matter what you do it was 25 and the AC duct has a very annoying wistle sound coming out. Room service at late checkin hours dont pick the phhone so one has to go to the reception to get something ordered.

The receptionist would give you the first and lasting worst experience you may ever encounter in any hotel, even the hourly renting motels used for quickies.

The price was expensive because i payed more to get a shelet. Wifi was not working at all.

I really liked the place and the view it was really quite and romantic

the cleanliness , i found earing on the floor , which means the floor was not cleaned properly

Staff as if they are reluctant to accept you as a guest unless you are European. Breakfast is lousy except the omelette prepared by the chef

In the hotel room I was feel poring till get beach cabinet then I become in better mode.

The reception and restaurant staffs were courtesy enough and the beach, its view and the three hotel's swimming pools were fantastic.

The electronic key entrance at the entrance door to the hotel room was frequently malfunctioned and needed to be activated again by the receptionist.

i was surprised when i arrived .. because they didn't mention anything about "the resort is for family's only" !!! .. so me and my friends were in a bad situation , and we hardly get in and took our room !!

Very noisy ,the rooms are not isolated properly,the next door room had very noisy people who made us unable to sleep,i will not repeat this experience again

Poor Wi-Fi internet. Slow room Service. The pool need to be shaded or covered so that it can be used all day.

The hotel is right on the bay and room cleanliness

The Hotel Mgmt(Egyptian) offers free coupons to their friends and on weekends hotel guests can not use the pool due to the number of people coming in with coupons to use the pool & have either lunch or dinner buffet. The pool was like a public pool with so many people in it, there was 1 meter away from each person. You could almost not see the water! Also, the seating area was total chaos with no seats for hotel guests at the time which was a weekend.

Not much, bed was comfy the one night we stayed there before leaving 3 days early.

Saudi only hotel really, no other westerners, my wife couldnt use the pool or swim in the sea, so left 4 days earlier than planned.
