Good,
Score from 299 reviews
“ Compared to other hotels, especially in the last 10 days of Ramadan, the service was excellent. I got my room just in 5 minutes. The room interior and cleanliness was excellent. Another attractive feature of this hotel is that it is just a few minutes walk from the famous 'Al-Baik' and a very huge superstore. ”

Very stylish and clean, Good value for money. Lots of local shops etc. They really need to sort out the shuttle service. No clear times for pick up and staff don't seem to know either!

Mouta Hotel Makkah was a very pleasant surprise. We wasn't expecting a lot and we had driven from Riyadh, but when we arrived we found a welcoming lobby and staff. Our room was spacious and clean. Also, the surrounding area was pleasant too and there was an Al Baik right round the corner! Win Win! One small complaint is that they forgot to clean our room just once, but no biggie.

Rooms were clean and nicely designed for comfort. Up to date furniture and everything worked well. It is close to a supermarket and many fast food restaurants. Has a shuttle service for each prayer but make sure you find out the times. The shuttle service needs to be more frequent and reliable.

Reception was good with English speaking. The location is far from Al Haram but having shuttle bus service 1 hour before and after prayer time to Mina Bus Terminal and connected by Saptco Bus to Al Haram (Saptco ticket provided by the hotel). The elevators are sufficient to handle people during rush of prayer time. The room was excellent like 5 stars hotel. Make sure to come back from Al Haram within 1 hour after prayer time because of not many taxi available at Mina Bus Terminal.

The room color scheme was good. The space was good, though bigger space could be available at other places for lower rates. Unprofessional and rude staff at front desk and lack of will to improve themselves.

Its very difficult to locate the Hotel and far from Haram. The address mentioned is not easy to search. I spent half hour in Taxi with 60 Riyals to find the hotel. The hotel number given while reservation was not answered for long.

1. Nice and clean rooms 2. Nearby restuarants and supermarkets 3. Nearby Mosque / Masjid 4. Nearby bus stations, Al Jamrah and Mahbas Al Jen 5. Hotel bus services for the five prayers 1. No Bus services for Qyam Prayer in Ramadan 2. The photos provided in booking.com are incorrect 3. Difficult sometime to be located by taxi. It is better to tell them that it is located nearby Al Baik Restuarant or Al Rajhi Bank

Very good hotel, the interiors are not of a three star!, very close to al baik. Is far from haram The shuttle service is not around the clock, only leaves an hour before salah, and returns an hour after (i visited during ramadan). Other than that it was very good.

I liked that the elevators worked very efficiently . There are 2 on either side of the building. With 150 rooms these never took longer than 10s to open from the time I pressed the switch. I would time it evertime an never did it keep me waiing for more than 10s. The famous Albaik is definitely worth the try but prepared to wait as they are really busy. Unfortunately to update this... The Pizza Hut has relocated . The Noori Supermarket was world class with all the famous brands. I got everything from a comb to insulation tape. The poor perfomance with regard to cleaning the lobby , communal carpetted floor area and the general room. In there defense I did request them to vacumm one day and they did. The Mouta is designed well with a spacious lobby and a garden. Always locked and never used. Also there is a banquet hall which could easily be transformed to a restaurant. There is also underround parking but ample parking on the road too if you have your own car.

Good place fot people doinh Umrah. Its located 10 mins grom Haram. They have their own buses and they drop you to Jmmat bus station, from where SAPTCO buses take you to Haram. Closed to Al Baik and near major commercial area. On the way back from Haram when dropped at Jammat bus station it is very hard to find hotel's bus, i always had to take a taxi back to hotel.

Parking is free, lobby is wonderful. The stuff was disorganized. We ordered an additional bed and they just brought it after sunset! Some of the garbage were under the beds! Also, they gave us a room that was occupied by someone else! I just discovered that when I entered the room!

I stayed in Ramadan during which period the prices of hotels near Haram were outrageously high. Though it was a little far it provided a good balance between price and distance. We could use a combination of shuttle and saptco to reach haram. The facilities inside the hotel were excellent. Albaik and noori grocery stores are just next to hotel which provided good options for iftar. The directions to reach hotel can be better described on booking.com. It was not easy to find the hotel for the first time according to description given on booking.com. But now I can tell it is very easy. Just ask the taxi driver to take you to Albaik in Azizia (Note there is only one Albaik in Azizia as on August 2012). Once you reach Albaik you can see a high riser (tower block) hotel. Mouta hotel is just behind this high riser.

Another attractive feature of this hotel is that it is just a few minutes walk from the famous 'Al-Baik' and a very huge superstore. Obviously, its location is the downside, as it is very far away from Haram. You need to walk for about 15 minutes, until you reach the Jamarat Bus Station, from where you can get the SAPTCO bus from Haram. If it is prayer time, then you can use the hotel's shuttle service to reach the bus station.

The room was quite spacious. to travel to Al Haram, van to half way and tickets for rest of the way were provided by the Hotel. Close to food centres and main road for taxi. close to a local mosque.Very good room for less money. Bath tubs need some improvements. Generally work ok but their slope causes the floor to get wet.

I went to the hotel on 17th Ramadan 1433/6th August 2012.When I first entered the hotel , everything was very good, the rooms were spacious and looked clean. There is also a car park. The hotel is very close to the Saptco bus point near the Jamarat , so one can take the car, park it in the Saptco bus point which has a big car park and then take the bus for 2 riyals straight to the Haraam in the Safa Marwah area. This is very convenient in the time of Ramadan. I stayed in the hotel for one night. On that night I noticed bed bugs. One was there in the blanket in the closet and the other showed up on the bed. This destroyed the entire experience of the hotel. I informed the hotel staff when I was leaving that the room had bed bugs. I hope they understood what I was trying to say. When I came home I washed all the clothes and had to clean everything just to make sure I did not bring any of them home.
