The room tawals were not so clean ..
first of all I paid for a dinner in advance using my credit card then I as told that I did not ! then i asked them to send a cake to my room for my anniversary (I said i will pay for it but they said no need as they will send it as a complement ! ) BUT that cake was never sent !!! Then I called the spa dept. to reserve a spot for my wife and I explained that it's an anniversary occasion and they promised they will squeeze her in and will give us a call next day but we never got called ! moreover, we were having breakfast, and I found a small worm in my plate !!!!! the manager did not charge us for the breakfast but still a consider that a big shame for such a prestigious hotel ! very very veery bad experience

Extremely Poor sound proofing. Trouble electromechanical systems. Pool in a different building outside main hotel building. Smokers and young people are walking around every single corner of hotel lobby.
Location, landscape and quality of food in all restaurants. We enjoyed the best chops and lamb leg in "Nafoura" by a young Egyptian chef.
Noises in corridor, frank and frequent banging of guest rooms makes your privacy thin and restless.
There is No soundproof in the room which make you hear any movment or noise outside your room
Vallet parking was not upto expectation and they scratched my rented car and there were no security cameras in the parking to do the investigation.
Our next door neighbours loud and abnoxius people. We complained about the noise and how uncomfortable it made us feel, but nothing was done to solve the issue. The noise carried on from 9pm to 5am. We thought it was a classy Hotel but what we experienced made us feel we were in a low class Motel!! I will never go back to that place and I have already advised my friends and family to do the same if they expect a pleseant stay with proper service.

We had to call the reception more then 5 times to get help with our TV. The food was very expensive for the quality. it was moderate to poor. The room was too expensive for nothing worth it honestly. It was average size. the closet was very small. We couldn't get transport arranged from the hotel via regular Taxis. Only their over priced limos. So we had to arrange our own transport. No shuttles.
They didn't respect the privacy sign, they keep knocking your door too many times, this has been repeated three times in my first day of stay. I never been in any hotel which knocks on your door to clean your room in your first day of your stay !! My first and last time.

I had to cancel my reservation. My computer and other devices were packed for my flight departing from Los Angeles. I didn't have my email info handy, so I called this "5* hotel" in Jeddah 6 times and no one answered the phone. It was 6pm-8pm Jeddah time. My final recourse was find a computer, went to the Jeddah Park Hyatt's website, sent an email requesting a cancellation. Subsequently my credit card was charged a1 night stay as a no show. They have been extremely uncooperative. They refused to credit my card. So I will spend $480 of my time spreading the word about their inefficiencies and unmanned font desk. Safety issues appear prevelant at this facility. I would recommend to others not to use this hotel. Further, my office was considering having a conference with 300+ attendees at the Park Hyatt. the location and the atmosphere - the room were clean and comfortable - the bathroom was clean and spacious
pricey - overpriced mini bar 20 riyals for a can of pepsi that cost 1.5 riyals outside the price of the rooms does not represent the quality of the resort ,as does all the hotels in jeddah

We arrived at the hotel at 4 pm after a long trip, and while I booked a twin room two months in advance, I was surprised that the room was not ready and the receptionist asked us to wait for 30 minutes. The 30 minutes turned into a long 4 hours wait for a room! During those four hours, the receptionist told us that there are no twin room available and we agreed to check-in in any room!. After check-out, and after arriving to my final destination, I was surprised that the hotel charged me extra charges on survices that I didn't even use! I am still trying to get them to refund those extra charges, the finance department head promised (by telephone) that they will refund the extra charges but nothing is done yet. In conclusion, it was the worst experience I've ever had in a well known, 5 star hotel. It was a huge disappointment!
