Location Room decor Breakfast Large bathroom
Small room Dated furniture and stained carpet Unhelpful staff Cleanliness (not clean)
Bed and towels are old As hotel will be destroyed and rebuild they careless of its conditions
Location ideal for Ziyaarah. Spacious bedroom and bathroom.
Very little natural light. Arab women hogging so many empty tables in the restaurant at breakfast.
Convenience of Location Size and design of family room Polite Staff and good service levels Variety of buffet and quality of room service Top floor roomn so outside noise was not an issue - may be different for lower floors
Patch on room carpet was a topic for discussion but not disturbing but enough to request a room change Car park was full when we arrived at mid-day - hotel should offer a valet option Suggestion: Post prayer timings in lobby and restaurant
dont like any thing
in their rooms carpets and curtains are not cleans there is a viral infection in this hotel my advice to all guest if you dont want to get sick plz dont stay in this hotel staff misbhaves esp in breakfast staff misbehaves with me plz dont stay this hotel
staff very friendly, service excellent, even paring driver very helpful and nice attitude.
The room was noisy (car horn with traffic)
The location was good. Hatem at reception during check-out was very well mannered and helpful. In room dining food was a bit expensive with small portions.
Elevators are a bit small, inconvenient for wheelchairs. Wifi did not work. Delay at check-in due to incompetent receptionist (Mazen) You can hear noise from the road outside.
Variety of breakfast buffet. Beds sizes and bed stuff are comfortable Closeness to the women entrance to the Holy Mosque
very very slow check in procedures, the rooms are little dark, not enough lightning the corridor are very narrow
Nothing at all
1. Room was not clean and by that I mean large stains all over the room. We have pictures to prove it 2. Poor service 3. Staff walked into our room at night. We were shocked. 4. I rate this place at a zero. We paid over $300 per night
Location is very good as its next to Haram
WiFi is restricted to 2 devices. Mini Bar was completely empty, had to request for replenishment. There was no complimentary water The carpets were dirty. The breakfast and service was not much and quality was not 5 star level. The room smelled of uncleaned upholstery.
Very near, very very luxurious, very clean, best hotel breakfast, junior suite was really comfortable
wifi poor strength, thats it really.oh yes, lifts can only accomodate 4 at a time or 400kg so a bit of a pain but bearable.
This is my third trip to Shaza. There service standard is so poor now. I will not book this hotel next time
Poor response of room room cleaning services. Receptionists are not capable to handle and satisfy guests. No wifi service during whole stay.
I shall not stay next time.
Wifi very poor Room not ready, had to wait more than 30 minutes Checkin reception was poor managed, no queue.... At checkout I had informed to take my luggage down 1 hour ago, finally no one came, I had went down to request, finally I brought my bags myself as my taxi had to wait.....
Close to Haram Lightning and Decorations are so relaxing Parking spaces are sufficient
Everything- from the location, neatness, wonderful meals and members of staff to the money paid for the accomodation which indeed is great value!
Location is great. The decoration is excellent. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to put a smile on your face. I noticed this with the front desk staff, housekeeping and the restaurant staff. The rooms and hotel are furnished with the best possible amenities.
Although the rooms are fitted with the best furniture and amenities for a 5 star hotel the high volume of tourists have taken a toll on the rooms. The rugs are stained in the rooms. The phone in the room did not work except for the one in the bathroom. The sink and shower water temperature control was not working it only went from scalding hot to hot. I am sure these are things that can be fixed and we did advise the reception. A few other issues exist which are not thought through carefully such as the elevators do not stop on the M level and as this may be justified guests should be aware of that. Many guests end up waiting on the M level for the lift while staff walk by and no one tells them (time wasted).
The room carpets/sofa is dirty and Beds not clean and not comfort. Also the restaurant area is very smoky and smelly from the cooking.
Location and food and also reception staff
Housekeeper and bathroom
Location, location, location ... and breakfast buffet is nice.
We had stayed here the previous year during hajj and had an excellent experience. Something changed in the last year, and it has literally soiled the place - the carpets were quite dirty from the halls to the rooms, one of three full size beds had been switched out for a twin size, and then when I pointed it out, the manager tried to say " thats a standard triple room." and then offered to have housekeeping check out the place, who promptly noticed the difference. Even the staff, who are still the same courteous staff I met last year, seem to have something taken out of their sails - it looks that someone decided that based on location alone they would always be full to capacity, so cut costs and make money. Short sighted. This hotel is priced to compete with some major other hotels in the area, so choose wisely
I was happy to see the respect of the staff to the guest.
At about 1.25 pm I was asked to vacate the room 115 immediately.I requested to allow me till 2.30 for completion of my Ziarath ,lunch, finally asked me to vacate by 2 pm. It could be by 2.30.Any how I am not so serious.
Location and room size
Elevators are too small.
