the food

Very good resort, polite and helpful staff, big territory and a number of on-site activities; good breakfast; nice room with free wi-fi and movie collection

Most restaurants are fully booked for dinner by lunch time; shuttles do not have a schedule and although declared interval is 10 min, it did not seem it was always observed; the hotel is rather big and therefore sometimes you cant help but feel that you are "one of the many" guests; dive center is seriously overpriced. However overall these comments are minor and did not affect my opinion about the hotel that much (except for the dive center pricing)

Great location, really beautifull and everything well thought of. Great staff, all facilities available incuding complimentary surfboards, catamarans, snorkling gear etc. Also very nice massages and treatments available, with a 30% discount if you book before 14.00 hrs. Very good food available, a bit pricy but really nice. Beautifull island, would advice to hire a car for at least one day to travel around, a couple even better. Best restaurant outside resort is 'la Plage' on north side of Island, must go!

If you are prepared to expect high(er) prices for food, all is great. You can choose smartly though, the buffets are great but expensive, a la carte is often half the price, same accounts for room service with very decent portions and high quality too! Nothing to complain in that sence.

The free daily activities and the size of the resort. You feel like you have your own island.

The food is very expensive about 950 Seychelles Rupees or $80 per person. Lunch was about $35 per person and breakfast is free. There was one ala carte restaurant that served Chinese food and was cheap so we went there often. Be careful of the boat house reservations because they will not call you to cancel if there isn't enough people. If they do have enough people they'll confirm at the last minute and charge you 50% if you don't go.

Nature,views, design,service, very friendly and highly professional staff

Organization of food. Only one a la carte restaurant (Chinese!) for dinner, all others -buffet , no choice for those who don't like to eat late. And there is nothing near hotel, place is absolutely isolated.

Location and scenery Swimming pool staff, especially Mr. Terrance who went out of his way to serve us with a big smile. Club car service/drivers. Kids club/staff. Turtles park. Excellent On demand movie selection Gym Activities Boat house

The North-beach for it's unique beauty.

The hotel is badly managed and hence, a lack of organization is noticeable everywhere. The different sections don't seem to comunicate and staff members kind of tend to be frustrated for not having clear or controversial instructions.

Beautiful beaches, spacious resort, polite and friendly staff, comfortable room, sporting activities available. very relaxing.

Paying for additional child under 10 years in the room. Bedside lampshades at wrong height, entire family kept hitting their heads. Limited beach side food and drink. Service although pleasant was slow. Food types was repetitive. kids movies not on every evening. Not very eco-friendly.

Business model: no cooking facilities in villa (not even ice) are designed to force you to eat out for every meal. (50Euro per head also for children) And a simple meal is not possible: forced usually to buffet or set menu. Limited in-villa dining options. No local alternatives

Food and drinks were very pricey.

Since last 20 years I have visited many 5 stars resorts in Carribean, Hawai, Maiami, Mediterranean, Middle East, Baltic, South East Asia, Africa, Europe etc, etc. This resort is the best one among 5 star resorts I ever visited.. the biggest resort i ever seen and i like the activity they provide in the same resort with a really great staff and luxury villas

The staff was excellent. Always friendly and nice to U. Breakfast, all the restaurant and in room dining was both fair at price and great at quality. Also, they gave us free red wine and chocolate on valentines day. The room is very big and the television system is a Mac which u can either use it as a tv or a computer. All the movies are free in it.

I was expecting panoramic ocean views. But I turns out u can see the ocean but there is a distance about 20 meters and there r a lot of trees between u and the ocean. U have to park u car in the parking lot and then walk to ur suite and trust me, that is a lot of time the sun is hot. Although there are shuttles, they do not appear all the time. The beach is not very good, there are too many little rocks in it and there are no waves in the hotel beach because there are two islands preventing them from coming in.

Love the wide range of facilities and space. Beautiful Beach and great scenery. Relaxed atmosphere. Great for Honeymooners

Very Expensive food. Not good as well. If you want to eat, make sure you order before 11 pm to room service as they are closed after 11. We had to create a big fuss to get some room service burgers (Which were not good) at 12 AM.

We enjoyed the services and the friendly staff who are assigned to villas. They make you feel at home and comfortable.

The lack of watersport activities e.g Jetski at the resort beach. One has to go out to that kind of fun.

location, variety and staff hospitality

being far from airport, i would advise that hotel should provide shuttle service. It would be a good idea also to provide a shuttle service to Victoria

Special treatments, and they gave us an upgrade once we arrived at the resort, the villa was very comfy and the pool had an amazing view. The staff was very friendly and offered us the best service. Don't miss the hot stone massage at the shisedo spa. The beach had so many activities like Kayak, Snorkelling, Diving and Fresh coconuts.

Mosquitos, the location is far from the city, edge of the swimming pool is rough.

The best thing I liked about this hotel is the stunning view of the beach, which I think might be the best on Mahe Island. Then comes the luxury and decoration of the room - I had a senior suite - Then come the friendly staff, polite, and warm welcoming and helping. which I have never seen in many 5 stars hotel I have been to (Africa and Europe). I have 2 daughters, and they loved it... We also enjoyed the food at corossol restaurent, however it was extremely expensive (150$USD for one person)

Food is extremely expensive in the restaurants - around 150$ per person. Also accommodation is expensive... which is the only reason I might no go there again. Finally I paid for Senior suite thinking it will be seeing the sea, but trees are too much in front of the room, and you really see almost no sea from the room - I took senior suite room 68.

Great range of sports options and superb north beach.

Food not up to scratch given the prices. Seyselwa restaurant had exactly the same food for both nights we visited. Room service was disappointing (food cold and tasteless).

Our villa was very comfortable. The Creole night was very entertaining. Marie Agnes our Villa host was very attentive and friendly.

Resort restaurant options were limited for reasonable priced dinners.

South Beach dirty, but it is not the Hotel responsibility, an agreement could be done to share beach clean

Service level and staff attitude was very very poor.

The North Beach, the many restaurants, the fitness club.

The hillside villas have beautiful scenery.The provided buttler was extremely helpful.

The beach villas were too far from the beach.W could hardly see the sea.
