everything, there wasn't anything that we did not like.
Love love love it! From the decor of the rooms, to the scrambeled eggs for breakfast. Our favourite hotel in Gothenburg!
If the room was bit bigger, a longer stay would be more agreeable. For several days says it is quite comfortable, though.
Practically everything. When we arrived there was construction in front of the building and the desk clerk immediately suggested to put us in the room on the other side of the hotel.
Little bit to crowded in breakfast restaurant (sunday). Little bit disappointed that I was not informed that there were scaffolding.
Friendly, good bed, nice room and Nice bathroom, friendly staff, modern, clean, well-decorated hotel. Good breakfast.
Wifi and phone reception in room kept cutting out.
Hotel reception very helpful and friendly. Excellent English.
I had a problem with the air con. The room was too cold and I couldn't regulate the temperature it is really inconvenient!
No spa at all And working in progress outside the the hotel Price is to expensive
I did like the staff was really nicei
room is not suitabel for business traveller; very dark, not enough lights, absolutely no space for work; might be a good place for tourism; room was alse very cold.
the staff at reception excellent, very helpful and professional
Things expensive for Brits. But then everthing in Sweden is.
Very comfortable, great atmosphere and stylish design with querky art work throughout. Fanatic staff Lively central location
All is very good
Very noisy room. My main complain is that the welcome basket was charged without telling up front that it is their practice.
It was cold in the room and I was unable to adjust temperature Price - as all things in Sweden the price is higher than in other EU.
Friendly stuff, cozy environment (Full fen-shui), breakfast, location, iron and iron board in the room.
-The design seems kind of old fashioned, but it's a matter of tast I guess! Other than that, I would definitely go back!
-Location is perfect -Breakfast -Facilities
the breakfast was very limited. Room facilities was compatible with 3 star hotels.
Having stayed in Avalon Riga I can now say for definite that this hotel chain are very precious about their tea bags! If you want a cup of good old English tea then take your own and save the hassle of begging!
Location is a stone's throw from the bus station and right in the heart of the city. All your needs are catered for, be it a fluffy bathrobe to the connection lead for your iPod to listen to your own tunes, this hotel has it all. A lovely colourful room and amenities all there. Top notch!
No conditioner or bodylotion in the bathroom. Carpet and chairs in the room felt unhygienic and dirty. The breakfast was ok, but Also it was a bit messy and food everywhere
Location and cleaness!
Breakfast buffet with limited variation
Nice location and nicer stuff
Couldnt order a drink outside if I wasnt eating - lazy bartenders
Car valet, Great bathrooms and finishings, excellent bedding, really quiet, excellent abr and seating area to relax and chill inside or outside. Perfect Location by the river.
No gym and the roof top pool isn't massive but is comfortable and worth a visit when the weather is good.
Great location and services for a short break or long weekend.
It was all good.
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great food
The hotel is surrounded by bars and restaurants which are extremely noisy at night even with all doors and windows shut. Our room was dominated by a bath tub which meant that we felt that there was a bed in the bathroom rather than a bath in the bedroom...very little space for occupants as a result.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very central and easy access.
Location Nice breakfast
I stayed for one night. The rooms have a really nice design. It is centrally located and could walk around the area easily.
The halls smelt a bit, probably from the carpets and if so, need freshing up. The halls were too dark and needed more light.
Food was very good particularly breakfast and the rooms comfortable. The idea of security cards for the lifts was a comforting one. I was here with my twin brother to celebrate our birthday and we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine and chocolates in each of our rooms, nice touch!
