the most comfortable bed ever
Amazing location, beautiful old building, good WiFi connection, clean room, very tasty breakfast with great selection - my stay was perfect for very cheap price, everything below 100 Euros for a double room with breakfast is cheap for Stockholm (I think there are last minute prices at this hotel sometimes that are significantly cheaper than regular ones)
No curtain for the shower so the water is everywhere in the bathroom after you take shower
Good position, nice hall, kind staff, safe and clean
They have stopped doing the evening buffet, which was quite novel and a really kind gesture. That was a great attraction and now that they are not doing it, I will be going elsewhere.
We forgot a personal object in the room when we left, but we contacted the hotel staff and asked them to mail it home. The staff service was outstanding, many thanks!
After reading negative reviews, I was a bit afraid it was a nad choice, but the hotel was actually a really nice surprise, at least our experience was a very good one. - Great location and view (we boughr a best deal room with the view to the inner courtyard where you serve breakfast), but we got a larger room with a view to the shopping street - spacious room, beautiful bohemian style - very nice breakfast (especially the carrot cake and the fresh pancakes, but also other good options)
The accomodation is very expensive in Sweden. They do not have airco, not a big issue, but it was a bit chilly and we asked for a heater fan. All in all, a very good experience, no complaints.
Location, Room was very clean Food at breakfast was good
Room was unbearably hot Breakfast on Saturday morning was absolute chaos, with food, crockery and cuttlery running out, tables not being cleared, insufficient seating. (other days were ok)
Perfect location, pleasant clean room, nice staff, good breakfast
My room on the 5th floor had a nice terrace, facing west. Unexpected.
The shower was overflowing. Something should be done about room 509
Excellent breakfast Many eateries close by On pedestrianised street close to city centre Obliging staff
The structure of the building - many rooms overlook the central reception and dining area, so that there is noise late at night and from 6.30 a.m.
Location, breakfast buffet. Small room, but perfect for a city weekend.
The lack of airconditioning, and the fact that the window opens up to the restaurant/lobby area, meant that the room was well over 30 degrees...
good location, good breakfast, small but enough space.
Towels are not exchanged daily.
poor wifi, noise of lobby/breakfast area doesn't let sleep, por drainage in bathroom
Perfectly located. Nice courtyard. Excellent breakfast.
Room 2 meters behind the reception. Had to keep window and curtains closed and conditions were so hot I had to ask for a fan.Maybe it be will be great in autumn or winter, but not right now.
The hotel is centrally located, right on the walking street, which saved us a lot on transportation cost. Bed is very comfortable.
One should be aware that most of the hotels in Scandinavia have no air condition. Thus, window has to be opened to get some fresh air.
Location staff room clean
Little noisy as i had à room to the inner court , breakfast area
Staff, breakfast room/foyer.
We stayed on upper floors: great for air quality but hard with big suitcases in small lift. Small thing, but annoying that hairdryer did not work and could not be replaced/fixed. Had to use dryer in other room a long way away from my room.
- location is good - personnel is friendly - locked luggage storage room
- on 5th floor wifi connection is really bad - could be some pastries or chocolate on the breakfast.
Excellent location by a pedestrian-only street in the city center. Breakfast was standard good quality. Early check-in was allowed without extra charges since they happened to have a room ready. Small room, but good enough for sleeping.
The room was uncomfortably hot (this was in July). The room had no air conditioning.
clean and position not bad
room really narrow, no air conditioner so there were no chance to breath
My single room was small, but enaugh for one person, I have to admit. It wasn't bigger than my son's room at home; the only difference was it had its own bathroom, again big enaugh. The space is decorated and furnished with good taste and quality materials. It feels almost luxurious. The breakfast is good and the staff friendly.
My room was on the 5th floor and it was really warm, no air conditioning inside so I had to keep the window open over night, with the curtains drawn. Having the window open wouldnt have been a problem, had it not been for the constant and loud, disturbing sound coming from the air conditioning instalation located somewhere outside my window.
The check in staff was very slow and gave us wrong directions as well In addition, garbage was placed and the main entrance of the hotel everyday while waiting to perhaps dispose of if and that created a horrible stench daily at the entrance of the hotel
The breakfast was the only strong point of the hotel
I booked the accommodation for one week. We arrived on Sunday evening, 29th of June, at 20:00, and noticed we didn't have towels for the shower. We asked the staff at reception for more towels and she said "It is too far away to go for the towels, would you mind asking for it later, when my other colleague is here?". No problem, we did, and she replied at 22:30 with "We don't have any towels left". In a 4 star hotel, unbelievable, I didn't even know what to say. We asked for towels after breakfast on Monday and Tuesday with no results, which means we were 3 nights without towels, till they appeared on Wednesday. My sister, who lives in Stockholm, had to lend us some. Of course we are not coming back here, even if it is in our plans to visit my sister more often.
The location is convenient to get into the centre.
The service at the hotel is very poor; the staff are happy to make you wait for a long time while they are on the phone or attending to other business. The wifi doesn't work well. The only place it occasionally works is in the lobby. Even though I booked and paid for a room for two people and requested a double bed, because I was a guest travelling solo the staff tried to place me in a room with a single bed.
