Scandic Foresta  

A very Swedish friendly hotel:))! You won't find nothing extraordinary in Swedish hotels even if they are called Grand Hotels:)) but they are usually clean, eco friendly, staff is friendly too and they are relatively expensive. Scandic F is not an exception! The breakfast was good. Rooms are very modest but have all the minimum facilities needed. No minibars. Beds are comfortable, linen is clean. Hotel is situated quite far from the city center in a very quite district Lidingo. Beautiful peaceful surroundings deserving a walk before going to sleep!

Pay for your parking at the hotel asap in the parkomat nearby!!! Parking lots at the hotel door are not a hotel property! I was penalized within 5 minutes time which I spent at the reception getting the keys.

The view.

Very pretty and quiet. Roughly a block from the bus to take you to the metro stop... 5 min over bridge. No big deal. Sea view room was really nice.

Service was excellent. All temporary problems were quickly solved by amiable hotel staff. All questions found answers. The room was light and cozy. Fantastic view from the room was also provided.

However, it’s not very honestly to write in the web description about the restaurant at the 6th floor with panoramic views of the Värtan Strait and Stockholm and to accompany it with photos. (It doesn’t exist now). Additionally we had a problem with the basin in which water flowed down too slowly and accumulated in it. During our accommodation this problem wasn’t solved in spite of our request. We had a room just above the 1st floor restaurant and sometimes it was rather noisy in the evening. Despite of that - nice hotel!

Relatively much nicer room for our visit to Stockholm for the price compared to hotels downtown or closer in. Found the traveling in and out via a short walk, bus, and T-bahn to be (reverse coming back) to be easy once the route was learned and we did have to roll our suitcases a little bit. But the room was spacious and very nice. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had at any hotel -ever. Very close to the Silja Symphony port for those going to or coming from Helsinki.

No AC and the room was fairly warm at times. No recreational or exercise facilities that I found in our short stay

Någorlunda skaplig utsikt.

Maten var inte bra och absolut inte prisvärd, valde från ordinarie menyn. Dyr parkering. Bortre hissen gick bara att åka ner med men inte upp. En aning störande trafik.

Åk hit för personalen. Supertrevliga och proffsiga och går lite extra långt för att ge bra service. Åk inte hit för maten/drycken.

- Dåligt drink/alkoholutbud. Ur ölsynpunkt saknades exempelvis: IPA, stout, trappist, geuze/lambic, humlad öl över huvud taget, barley wines, etc. - Restaurangen var stängd. Bistron hade acceptabel mat, men har långt kvar för att bli "bra". Den "unika" hamburgerdressingen bör förbli unik. - Reklamtavla på hotellrummet. Kändes som en Viking-line kryssning. - Dåligt utrustat gym, kvalificerar inte ens till namnet.

Hotellet ligger i ett lugnt område. Ingen störande trafik.

Nous avons voyage' avec notre fils de 14 ans et nous avons pu avoir une chambre avec deux chambre a' l’intérieur, deux tv ,beaucoup de place et des grandes fenêtres, Propre, déjeuner excellent, international et très abondant! Silencieux , vu sur mer.

Utsikten, rent o frächt

Galet tråkig inredning, skabbiga "väntrumsmöbler". Slarvigt kaklat golv i badrum, riktigt låg "myskänsla" tråkig 70-talskänsla över hela hotellet.

läget och trevlig personal

börjar bli slitet och bokningarna blev inte rätt till de som bokat på hotellets hemsida och blev kompenserade men först efter jag påtalat, det dom var nöjda men man ska agera innan kunderna har blivit negativa

Härlig personal och beläget med fin vy ut över vattnet gör att jag gärna återvänder till Lidingö Foresta...

Bra pris inget buller ingen trängsel.

Lite krångligt med buss från T bana till hotell.

很满意

我很喜欢酒店的地理位置，能看到海。

我入住的这些天只有早餐而没有中餐和晚餐我觉得很遗憾，感觉很不方便。另外早餐的品种似乎少了一些。我还希- 望能增加中文服务。如果房间里有冰箱、微波炉和烧引用热水的设备就更好了，比较符合亚洲人的生活习惯。

Mycket trevlig, serviceinriktad personal. Sköna sängar. God och riklig frukost.

Lyhört ut mot gatan är väl det enda jag kan komma på.
