Fabulous location, great value and welcoming staff
The location and hall
Room was cold, wind blow through the window. Problem with check in, but it was a inusual problem. Price was high.
Kitchen was amazing, everything else was bang for your buck, I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone.
The location was excellent. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The facility seems to be well organized and kept clean. I was in an 8 beds female room with a shower room inside - room was very spacious, but you still have to use the hall toilets. I felt secure and safe during my stay. Plenty of public transportation, lots of fast food chains surrounding the area. A big grocery store is under the Central Station which is 2 blocks from the hostel.
The room was a little cold - I don't think the heater was enough (did not find the control panel). The room lights were terribly and electrical socket provided was 1 for each bed. If i need to use it, I can't plug in my bed light.
The big kitchen and enough bathrooms.
The ensuite shower area would have been better if it had a curtain for each cabin. The no-shoe policy.
One of the best hostels I've stayed at, the deco and set up is lively, like a huge house you live in with all your friends. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the extra activities are 100% worth it. Definitely sign up for the meatballs class, I met the best people there and had the most fun I've had in ages! All areas spotlessly clean, with plenty of pots, pans etc to use
The beds were fairly creaky, but some earplugs will fix that right up. The lockers in the rooms don't fit a standard hiking back.
Spacious dorm room, private showers, great chill out areas, friendly staff. Easily the best hostel I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in quite a few) !!
Just use code no key neede
Wished they have female Dom
The hostel was very welcoming and conveniently located.
Very clean, comfortable sheets, good location, great common room and kitchen, additional fun activities are offered.
The room was a bit chilly for me.
Best hostel i've ever stayed at + free pasta! Thanks heaps!
Good price in rapport to quality and personal expect.
Very helpful receptionist: Since the hostel is rather big, he explained all different door codes on side, brought me to the room and made sure that bed and locker were okay.
The hostel rating is in relation too high for what I have seen (8 bed dorm): the beds are iron frames but not well fixed. So, whenever someone goes to bed or just changes her/his position it is really loud. Due to the close proximity (of all rooms on the ground floor where my dorm was), it was loud throughout the whole night; usually sleeping well but that was beyond...people coming with suitcases, rolling over the wooden floors (really loud), people in the central hall laughing, shouting all night...- And then: I arrived at 10pm and the kitchen got then; the cafe - which was said to offer tea and coffee (even for free) till 4am in the morning, had not staff and no facility either to get still something to drink like a hot tea or coffee as usually no problem in hostels. All in all, the facilities were - nice in their style, but used, old and not special at all. Compared to other hostels in Stockholm, - and I have seen quite some now, a 6.9 to 7.4 at ts best would be fairer, I think.
There are enough toilets & showers, they are for common use, of course, but the good thing is that there are several separate WC+shower rooms, so if you do not like public shower nudity - it is a good solution for you. Good location near Central Station.
We booked the room for 2 people - it was very small, just for 2-floor bed, chair & drawer. The beds were noisy & old. It was freezing cold in the room at nights, though it was autumn. And we could hear every sound behind the walls, which was not always pleasant. Clean sheets & towels are not included for free, so be ready to pay extra.
Nice staff - they even sent me a welcome mail after booking, perfect location in Normalm (5 min from Arlanda Express station - after arriving turn right and than left at the corner). Other guests were nice, free pasta and mac computers, cool design of the hostel and big lounge - all of that made my stay just perfect. Cant wait to come back to CBP.
sauna, facilities, and the mood in general
Great location. Free pasta. Nice cafe and internat.
Cleaning staff was rude. Staff did not put soap into the dispensers when I asked multiple times. Nasty.
location is great, private room is clean and cosy.
kitchen is very small, stove is broken. at night you definitely need ear plugs coz they play live music.
location reception area
The atmosphere is great to meet new people. The events hosted by them especially the cooking class dinner. The common areas are nicely decorated. There are Mac computers. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms and showers always clean. And there was free pasta to cook your own meal.
My room had a window with a nice view but bad insulation so a bit of cold wind got through. Taking shoes off every time you enter the place in order to keep spaces clean.
-The location is very good.
- Have to pay extra for bed sheet.
The hostel was very clean and I think has potential to be good if you meet the right travelers there
Most of the staff was not friendly and sometimes even rude. I would consider only one staff member nice. It seems like the hostel has some strange rules and I think they maybe take some things too seriously. Breakfast is definitely NOT worth the money as it is limited to start and they make you pick only two small things. Also, this is not really the hostels fault but there was a kid in my room who was deathly ill and kept everyone up to the point where someone asked him if he could control his coughing. Not fun.
sauna was great, and very cheap to book privately super nice staff who gave us amazing recommendations This is def a great spot, search no further
The staff speaks fluent English. The location is great, not far from the Central. You can take the bus no 53 if you have 24h transportation ticket. It is a safe place to stay with the code to go in and code to your room, no need to carry the key.
We had to pay for bedsheet and the check-out time is at 10 am which is quite early if you are a late morning person like me.
