The atmosphere is great to meet new people. The events hosted by them especially the cooking class dinner. The common areas are nicely decorated. There are Mac computers. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms and showers always clean. And there was free pasta to cook your own meal.
My room had a window with a nice view but bad insulation so a bit of cold wind got through. Taking shoes off every time you enter the place in order to keep spaces clean.
-The location is very good.
- Have to pay extra for bed sheet.
The hostel was very clean and I think has potential to be good if you meet the right travelers there
Most of the staff was not friendly and sometimes even rude. I would consider only one staff member nice. It seems like the hostel has some strange rules and I think they maybe take some things too seriously. Breakfast is definitely NOT worth the money as it is limited to start and they make you pick only two small things. Also, this is not really the hostels fault but there was a kid in my room who was deathly ill and kept everyone up to the point where someone asked him if he could control his coughing. Not fun.
sauna was great, and very cheap to book privately super nice staff who gave us amazing recommendations This is def a great spot, search no further
The staff speaks fluent English. The location is great, not far from the Central. You can take the bus no 53 if you have 24h transportation ticket. It is a safe place to stay with the code to go in and code to your room, no need to carry the key.
We had to pay for bedsheet and the check-out time is at 10 am which is quite early if you are a late morning person like me.
Great internet everywhere. Great atmosphere to meet new people. Awesome sauna.
Nice, interactive, friendly and helpful staff who are always available to give you an advance or recommendation, particularly Michel and his great bike tour plenty of histories! Congratulation guys!
wifi is fast and great location
people hanging around at yard all night....
Everything.....location, lovely hostel, clean, comfortable......
Good location in Stockholm city. I only slep there.but there where some young travelers which seemly spent some free time also in hostel facilities. Rooms, shower and toilets were clean. I had nice room mates. So no problems to sleep.
Our stay was only brief but it seemed like a pretty good place for a young traveller wanting to meet people
The hostel is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are cozy common areas and a kitchen that you can hang out with others. They also provide you with computers and a printer. The hostel is not far from the central station and the shopping area.
Super friendly staff. Both the common areas and rooms are quite nice. Breakfast add-on is reasonably priced. Wifi throughout. Good vibe. Fairly centrally located.
We had a private room/shared bath. Our window looked right onto a common area, and the shade did not close all the way, which made changing a pain. Also, in our experience, hostels typically include towels and sheets with the private rooms, but this was not the case (rental was available though).
Clean, good location
Personally I don't like underground rooms. No windows, no natural light.
The atmosphere combined with the facilities, the interior and everything is amazing
The wifi didn't work so well in some parts of the venue
there are a lot of bathrooms including private ones. a man staff explains very clearly and in a easy way.
think some beds are too old to make a squeaky sound even at a small movement.
Great atmosphere, excellent kitchen facilities, sauna on site.
A nice place to stay, the layout and environment of the hostel was very conducive to meeting new people. Nice kitchen area (with free pasta!), nice communal lounge with free wifi. The breakfast, a paid option, was also excellent. This hostel made the last day of my trip a great one, I should have stayed longer in Stockholm!
Whats not to like.. the staff were great. The place was cleaner than any hostel i have ever stayed in. Plenty of activities organised everyday. Mikes bike tour is a must!!!! He has got more local knowledge than you will be able to remember!!!!
Couldnt stay long enough
Location and the facilities of the hostel.
Room is a bit dark.
Love the free pasta. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed.
Only complaint: the hostel is kept clean, but it is often cleaned during peak hours, e.g., 0800 and 0830 on two mornings in the dining/kitchen in the midst of breakfast; another morning 0930 the lounge was being cleaned with a dozen guests using it. Isn’t possible to clean theses spaces on off-hours when fewer people are using them? Otherwise, the best hostel in Sweden.
I met so many great people when I stayed there so this fact itself is already good; The kitchen area has a "Leftovers" section, which is free to use by anyone and saves you tons of money. I rarely had to go out to eat. Also, the free pasta and speedy Internet are awesome; The common area outside has many interesting people at all times; You can do laundry for SEK 50 and with that you get free laundry powder. The breakfast is good and includes a choice of a ham/cheese sandwich or croissant with 1 glass of orange juice and 1 yoghurt with fruits. You can also get unlimited coffee and tea.
I stayed for three nights and I was surprised by the many advantages this hastel had: private toilets and showers, a refrigerator for each room, free pasta, healthy breakfast (not included, 55SEK), a sauna (very relaxing after having walked around during all day), washing machines, hairdryers . Don't worry if you travel by yourself, you will meet people in the common areas.
I would recommend them though to organize more social activities. Also, I didn't bring my own sheets because I wasn't told of (they told me it was in the description but it was not, I checked after), so they charged me about 60SEK. Brind earplugs if you are sharing a room.
very clean, nice staff
a bit noisy at night
