Since 1976 this beautiful building has been the site of Columbus Hotel and has retained a flavour of its elegant past blended with the standards now expected in the best hotels. The hotel is centrally situated in Stockholm on Södermalm, one of Stockholm’s most beautiful and attractive areas.
Just a few blocks from the busy Götgatan, Columbus is an oasis of calm in the busy urban streets of Södermalm. A large, tranquil inner courtyard contributes to the ambience. The rooms have wide exposed beams, polished hardwood floors, antique furniture, and bright wallpaper and fabrics. Many look out over the courtyard, others the nearby church.
In summer breakfast is served outside. This hotel provides peace and quiet even though it's close to all the action.
Our Bistro serves evening meals and why not finish off the night with some wine tasting in the 18th century vaults.
The Single Rooms have a 90 cm bed.
The Double rooms have a 2 x 90 cm beds, alternatively one 160 cm or 180 cm bed.
Our spacious deluxe rooms consist of a living room with sofa bed and one bedroom with 2 x 90 cm beds, alternatively one 180 cm bed.
Access to Stockholm's Archipelago and the city centre is easily at hand.

Camera spaziosa con bagno privato con doccia. Ottima pulizia. Buona posizione a qualche minuto a piedi dalla metro, in una strada secondaria molto tranquilla. Caffè e the gratuiti dalle 1600 alle 1900. Colazione abbondante. Forse sarebbe stata più gradita una colazione un pò più internazionale. |

Vi upplever skön känsla att bo och vara på Columbus. Ljust, stora utrymmen, rent och snyggt med mysiga frukostar och ett intressant gammalt kulturellt hus som det har gått att behålla så vackert! Ihanan tunnelmallinen huone, paksut seinät eritivät kaikki ympäröivät äänet joten unirauha oli täydellinen, sijainti Söderillä on Tukholman paras. Aamiaistarjoilu huonosti suunniteltu, joutui jonottamaan liikaa, aamiaishuone tuntui liian pieneltä, kun talossa tuntui muuten tilaa oleva. |

Bemötandet.Fräscheten.Arkitekturen och inredningen.Innergården var ett stort plus.Jag återvänder när det går att sitta ute och insupa tidens tand Trappan ner från toaletten var lite jobbig om man måste gå upp på natten. Men det fungerade . |

Ett hotell beläget i ett område som är lugnt och tyst. Det var skönt att det inte fanns bar med hög musik. Bra att kunna sitta ner o ta en öl eller ett glas vin. Nära till T-bana. |

Fin beliggenhet i forhold til sightseeing i Gamla Stan mm. Stille rom i historisk bygning. (ingen heis) Trivelig personale. God plass på rom, rent. Stort pluss for "minikjøkken" i resepsjonsområde med mulighet for kaffe, mat etc hele døgnet. Mulighet for parkering i nærliggede garasje. |

sehr idyllisch, schöner Hof und nette Einrichtung, gut erreichbar wifi-Angebot was unklar - keines im Zimmer, Frühstücksangebot nicht sehr reichhaltig, nichts Süßes - wenig Platz im Frühstücksraum, Böden am Gang knarren sehr laut - hört man im Zimmer, keine "bitte nicht stören" Schilder auf den Zimmern verfügbar |

Die ruhige aber doch zentrale Lage in Stockholm und das ausreichend große Einzelzimmer. Dass der Fön hinten im Schrank lag, so dass ich ihn erst bei der Abreise gefunden habe. Eine feste Montage in der Dusche wäre schön |
