Score from 156 reviews Very good
Staff are efficient and friendly. Bistro food is really very good and I suspect better than the set menu in the main dining room. No quibbles with the room or wifi. I would definitely return. People will like the fact that the hotel is very child friendly
some awful artwork! But the overall architecture and style works very well.
Great location Great spa Friendly and helpfull staff
Cold rooms, with no way to adjust the heat. Floors in room were sticky
The location is amazing, so is the design, the views and the SPA. The breakfast is also very good, although you have to pay extra for coffee.
Not once during our stay was the room cleaned properly, the laundry was returned to us unwashed, the water toilet in the room was constantly running, there were no towels in the SPA and the staff seemed to have a "deal with it" attitude, no apologies or anything like that. Generally the level of customer service is very different to what one would expect from a hotel like this in Europe. I think there is a general lack of understanding of good customer service.
The food the views and the staff!
Skiing was not as easily accessible as I had hoped and understood it to be.
Good compensation and apologies when room was changed.
Booking service not coordinated. Double booked first night- athough I had written confirmation of one single suite. Wrong price of the room given although written confirmation again.Given the wrong room- needed to be changed from the staff during the day.
Very relaxing atmosphere with fantastic staff at the restaurant. Nice and relaxing pool area during the kids-free hours.
Short of staff at reception, we (and others) had to wait for far too long and too many times before receiving any service. This happened more than once, and neither did the staff apologise for the wait. Beds being single beds pushed together, big gap in the middle of the bed. Expecting a double bed for being a 5 star hotel, not single beds pushed together. No snow canons for the lift going up to the hotel. We chose the hotel for being a ski-in/ski-out hotel but there was not enough snow to take the lift. Either get snow canons or offer guests some kind of compensation, like a voucher for the café/bar. No plastic cups in the bathroom for toothbrushes. No hangers for the towels. The light in the bathroom is unfortunately not good enough for putting on makeup (neither is the single mirror). No full size mirrors for women who wants to see their full outfit.
