The hotel booked a deposit/payment guarantee for 2 rooms from my friend's credit card upon arrival. It took them a month and countless e-mails to return her money back, although they did receive a full payment when we checked out as well. Very disappointing.

It is absolutely fabulous. Location, design, quality, facilities. Staff is perfect and there's nothing that can have you concerned but the fact that you need to go home at some point :-)

The atmoshere, with the restaurant next to the reseption, fireplace etc. Nice and welcoming and friendly. You should change the carpets all over the place, gives an unfresh look and first impression

Friendly staff. Good location. Great views. I like this hotel and have stayed here often over the years. Feel sad about being critical Hotel has seen better days. Scruffy entrance. No one to help with bags in snow etc. Rooms a little scuffed and dusty. Dirty windows etc. Room service expensive for food that was delivered tepid. Ridiculous design of window in bathroom that allows one person to lie in bed watching someone on the loo! What were they thinking?? What this hotel lacks is attention to detail.

sorry i did not have a good experience at your hotel, I was a solo traveller from Australia. When I arrived at the hotel I was already most unwell. No one to assist with baggage, ( I am 70 years old), the young receptioniste marched off thru the kitchen with my baggage, with me following!!!! didnt tell me to use the elevators, didnt know anything about a hotel docktor!!!! or what I could do to get help. Only when my Swedish friend rang the hotel asking for me, did I get some answers to my questions.via my friend ringing the reception, and finding out that I could have spoken to a doctor for advice, and then if necessary, go to the ER!!! In my opinion your reception staff need more training in English, I would certainly NOT book your hotel again. Sorry for the review, maybe if feedback is acted upon, your frontline reception staff may improve. I dont expect a reply, but thankyou for at least reading this and asking for my opinion. We found the Hotel a very comfortable place to stay. It was easy to catch a tram or bus not far from the front door into the city or out to Durgarden and the various attractions there. The hotel is also within walking distance of the boat cruises. Gamla Stan although the latter is a fair walk. Our room was 402 and faced the harbour, with three big glass doors that could be opened, but there was however no balcony. They have a gate with flower box to stop you falling out. I had heard that Swedish hotel rooms were small, ours was fine. The bed was extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The bathroom was clean and had a bath with overhead shower. The T Bar is downstairs and we had coffee there. We found it warm and comfortable in the back area. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful. They were always prompt in answering emails and once we arrived the service continued to be friendly and courteous. They booked us a fixed price taxi from the airport to hotel and then again when we were leaving. Nothing was a problem. There was nothing we didnt like, however it was a little pricey. Whilst it was not an issue for us, there were stairs in the room which was split level. This may be a problem for some people.

The location, the staff and the bed. One square meter less space, and it had been a cabinet. It was a single room to a very high price for very little space.

Well situated and from a tourist point of view was within walking distance of the 2 main Islands and also within walking distance of good restaurants and shops. Those rooms situated overlooking the harbour have a wonderful view. Our room was well decorated and very clean. Their buffet breakfasts (included in the price, were totally amazing. We had no real dislikes at all. It was a very charming place to stay and the Staff were very helpful at all times.
