Hotellet är jättefint, bra läge.
Saknar dock relaxrum med bubbelpool
À bit more Coffee in the room it was just 2 spoons
The hotel is very nice. Great breakfast, fantastic bar and very nice employees.
There should be one line from staff's information / policies and also small difficulties with housekeeping. Though, the follow up was great and it couldn't affect the excellence of our stay.
One of the best breakfast I've had! Helpful staff and excellent location.
The morning rain, have nothing to complain about :)
The hotel is located just outside of the train and ferry terminal. We took the ferry in and train out, so it was super convenient. They have free loaner bikes. These were nearly brand new bikes. We took them out one day, rode along the coast up to Sofiero. The included breakfast buffet is a full spread. It had counter full of different (hot and cold) items including fresh squeezed orange juice.
Bed was really comfy Room was a nice size En-suite was large Overall the hotel entrance was welcoming and typically Swedish in design. Maybe in need of a re decoration? Browns creams can be a bit old fashioned... Breakfast was very good
The view from my room was not so good - the walkway to the ferry and a side road. Works were taking place outside my window with a very noisy crane. I know this is not a fault of the hotel but it was quite a disturbance.
the location is excellent
I didn't like the room, the staff were not friendly
Late Breakfast close at weekends Location Better room this stay
Early breakfast close mid week Building construction noise at 7 in the morning. Cups in rooms have no handles for hot drinks. Maid left cream cleaner bottle in the bathroom. No cups in the room on one day Cold boiled eggs No fresh orange juice at weekends Cost of alcoholic drinks
Nice, basic room. Modern bathroom. Right next to the ferry building and easy walking to old part of town.
No air conditioning.
One of the better hotels in Helsingborg. The location is smashing.
Breakfast was chaotic. Too many people "fighting" to get around in a very confined area with limited seating possibilities.
Outstanding breakfasts, with plenty of options for all dietary tastes. You can even make your own waffles.
The Bishop's Arms 'pub' attached to the hotel offered good ale in a friendly environment, but the prices were astronomical.
It's just next to the train station. Very confortable.
The ventilation/ airco does not work!
Location is easy for short stay. City itself is beautiful and old, and harbour area great to stay at.
This spot was the last one in our 5500km long road trip, and last year my stop in Kalmar was disaster. Well, Helsingborg didn't help me believe either, that Swedes care of their guests outside of Lapland, islands and capital Stockholm. Hotel is seriously outdated, reminding Helsinki-Stockholm cruise ships: damaged, dirty walls, bathroom like in communal rent apartments anywhere in Scandinavia, and even breakfast was especially mentioned 'great' and 'popular', it was that only theorically. Loads of b-quality. We had 'Mini-Suite', in 2nd floow looking over the atrium. So, the morning view was to see guests with hangover and cleaning staff. A couple of new pieces of furniture isn't renovation, and something that was cool in 1994, doesn't make it four star in 2014. When arriving, around the hotel was lots of drunk people, and as hotel's own carage was full, we were pointed to park in Q-park next door. 20Kr price per hour isn't too much, but for parking in place that is partly under construction, and where drunk men where hanging with beer cans looking in to parked cars one by one, wasn't OK. If we felt safe parking on streets in Lithuania, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia and Berlin, we didn't feel the same in a parking hall in Sweden.
A very good hotel. Great location near the marina, train station and the Tower. Excellent breakfast.
Location is great just beside the railway station and ferry terminal. Stayed in the room with sea view and it's definitely worth paying little more to a fantastic sunset over the ocean. The room was clean and modern. Would surely stay again if we come back.
Very close to Train station and sea as well, great staff and helpful, comfort room and beds.
Over priced to he honest with such facilities, and the hotel Euro exchange rate is very high and not logic, you will have to exchange in the train station and use local currency better.
Staff at the desk.
The staff in the Bischops Arms. Unfriendly and unattentive.
Location, brakfast fresh and good Good and friendly service
When I booked hotel was because of the disposition to a garage for our car, called to the hotel directly after booked and I was ensured with the person I talked that it would be a parking place able to us, when I got to the hotel, they tell me that the parking was fully booked, and no chance to a spot, I remind them that I called the day before and they had promise a garage place, and if that didn't work we will cancel our booking and move to another hotel, the receptionist made her outmost to fix it, but it felt strange to have to come to that level to get what it was promised,
I liked the fact that it was very quiet and relaxing. The staff was very friendly.
I would have loved to have the opportunity to make use of an indoor pool and a bigger gym.
Breakfast and lovely beds and quiet through the night.
Broken hair dryer not notified. I discovered another too late in a cupboard.
An excellent location in the centre of town, and right next to the harbour and ferry port. Our room had a brilliant view of the quayside and magnificent town hall.
Not enough staff staff at reception at busy times which resulted in waiting a while to be served.
Friendliness, attitude, helpfulness of staff.
I can't figure it out.
The view from our room (bedside, fourth floor) over the sound and boat traffic is marvellous! The de luxe room was very efficient with separate toilette and bathroom. The roomy, and voluminous public area.
