Elite Hotel Savoy    

The staff we're great as the spoke English which helped us very much.

The parking facility's were not so good as I had to park on a side street. It was free for the week end but we paid the meter as it was written in Swedish and the staff did nit let us know it was free.

It was cold and noicy (music) in the restaurant at night

Location was perfect - close to the train station but far enough away that you couldn't hear it. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Good value.

Elite Hotel is very nice location, near Central station and walking distance to shopping and old town and comfortably to stay. Hotel itself is nice and clean, look beautiful, and historical design.

Very good atmosphere, big rooms and nicely decorated. Good breakfast and excellent pub next door!

Around 6:30 they collect the garbage containers in the alley next to the hotel, which takes roughly 20 minutes and makes a lot of noise. Advice: get a room on the other side.

I liked the old fashion style of the hotel.

The "spa" was a bit simple but ok.

No staff was seen in the night!!! No controll. Hard to have à table at breakfast. When we had à table it was without à tablecloth.

The hotel is located right in front of the Central station which is very convenient. All the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was lovely with a lot of different foods to choose from. I would happily stay in this hotel again.

It offered a 18:00 Sunday check out. Good breakfast.

On Sunday, the adjoining bar and restaurant was not open until 16:00

The staff was very kind, the place was peaceful and clean.

I booked a superior double room, but this information did not appear in the reservation to the hotel. So we stayed in a standard double room at the same price of a superior one.

*Location *Period Charm *Comforable bedding *Reception staff, house keeping staff and technical staff were very helpfull, offered to resolved issues very quickly and to change room when issues were reported (see issues below)

*Carpet is very tired looking and worn out *Broken shower screen, finally fixed after 3 attempts in 4 days *Permanent stain below the water in the toilet bowl with unpleasant odour *Duty/General Manager is arrogant and accusative, when he was told with the above issues, he quickly jumped into the conclusion that the damage of the shower screen was the guest's act. *Mouldy fruit served during breakfast. A young chef was told about the issue and he suggested that wasn't his responsibility and help himself to the buffet breakfast and dissapeared

I like everything apart from the very annoying fact that I had 2 cases and found I had to carry them up and down stairs as there was no lift to the floor on which my room was located. This is a problem. Please next time can you allocate me a room that does not involve any stairs!!

Really good location, 2 min. walk from Central stration, and the Malmö airport bus is in front of the hotel. The breakfast is really superb, and there was a pretty good wifi bandwidth also. If you do not prefer noisy rooms, ask for the backside, it is absolutely silent. A real old-fashioned early XXth century design and enterieur. We loved the silver kitchenwares/set and the kept wooden back-stairs :)

The superior room without real windows and more steps inside the room was a bit disapointed. The very short cord of the teamaker was crappy, we needed to use it on the floor, because no slot for the plug was close to the table. :o A small guy entered in the room after a short knock, but without letting him in...He wanted to fill the minibar, or something similar, but it was a quite surprising method in a **** hotel :)

Very convenient for the centre, airport bus and bus and railway stations. Extremely clean. Stylish. Very quiet. Good value single room. Good breakfast buffet. Ideal with Bishops Arms onsite.
