First Hotel Amaranten

Convenieint for the station. Clean

I had emphatically booked a room with a bath but was allocated one with a shower. The receptionist immediately found me a room with a bath, but it was so tiny I could hardly sit in it. Also it had no plug. There was mould in the tiling. The sauna was shut.

Overall clean, nice and clean sauna & fitness facility

room small and old (many signs of use) for a high-priced superior room, shower was not working, noisy air conditioning. Although the staff was helpful when available, most of the time only one person was at the reception despite the long queue (20 mn waiting time at check in).

Convenient location close to T-Central and city center. Sauna department excellent for brief relaxation.

TV services had poor image quality and interactive services didn't work at all.

The Pay-TV facility did not operate. The swimming pool was very small!

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We especially liked the spa, the breakfast, and the location was excellent. The room and its furnishings were quite comfortable.

good middle class hotel, rather unpersonal, close to the train station and the city centre.

Very crowded, especially at the breakfast buffet.

Staff was very nice, especially male bartender in the hotel's lobby bar was very helpful. Also, bar had very good selection of special ales. Hotel was in short walking distance from the railway station and centrum.

Room was nice but a bit "worn". Bathroom door didn't close properly, shower dripped and the air conditioner was a little too loud. Nothing major though.

It was a fair price and very close to down town

Hotel has grate hotel staff, rooms, are clean and comfort. The metro station is very near, and hotel is not far away from the center.

Very comfortable room and helpful staff with a great location, once I worked out the geography and the transport systems

The total chaos trying to get breakfast at the weekend with large tour groups and in general the rather surly approach of the breakfast staff But the staff at the bar were great

Breakfest is very good. Loby is excellent. In Stockholm i was for bussiness so i did not spend much time in hotel.

There is no area for smokers inside the hotel. I had to go outside the hotel to smoke.The weather was so bad on friday night, wind+snow and i saw other people in front of the hotel. It's not a good picture.

The hotel is modern, bright and airy and the staff are very helpful. Also well located close to the station

The tables in the main lounge/ reception area were a bit worn and tired looking. Otherwise OK. As residents, we could not be provided with any room or other dining service on New Years Eve, so we had to go without.
