Staff extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful; they promptly remitted over half a day's room price when the hot water failed our last morning. Breakfast buffet excellent; staff very cooperative about special food needs for our friends; adverse on-line breakfast reviews unwarranted. Bathroom heated floor/towel rods are nice luxury touches. Electronic room safe is a very convenient feature. Adverse guest reviews on-line did not fairly reflect the nice features of this hotel. It is on quiet street a short walk to the waterfront, town square, shops, restaurants, train station, and Kalmar city castle. Paid parking convenient in garage or in lot behind hotel. We'd definitely stay there again! (In fact, we extended 2 days beyond our plans.) The rooms were very nice and generally clean, but the hardwood floors were quite dusty and should have been cleaned better; our sox got very dusty from the floors. Also no electrical outlet in bathroom for shaver or hair-dryer, which was a minor inconvenience. |

The hotel structure is old,waking around you wouldn't think to be in a 4 star. The furniture of the room was quite new though, but the furniture alone is not enough to change the overall impression. Our room was extremely hot in the evening after a sunny day. Fortunately you can open the windows. |

Good breakfast. The room described as a superior-room was a hole...unable to walk inside. The window gave on a roof. The air conditioning virtually absent and the mini-bar was empty. |

Hotelli oli helppo löytää. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä. Aamupala oli kohtalaisen hyvä. Oveen oli oikea avain kortin sijasta, hauska juttu nykypäivänä. |

Das Zimmer war wirklich toll (moderne Einrichtung und Badewanne). Außerdem konnten wir unsere Fahrräder kostenlos in der Hotelgarage abstellen. Die Lage ist super, direkt im (neuen) Zentrum von Kalmar, unweit vom Schloss. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichlich, man kann sich sogar selber frische Waffeln backen lassen und wenn man einen Extrawunsch hat, bemüht sich das junge Personal auch, diesen umgehend zu Erfüllen. Einziger Minuspunkt ist, dass an einer eigens dafür bereitgestellten Theke mit Tassen, Teebeuteln und Kaffee in der Lounge fast NIE Kaffee oder heißes Wasser standen. |

Sängarna jättesköna. Frukosten rimligt bra. Trevligt sällskapsrum. Badrummet OK. Nära till allt i stan. Parkering i huset. Badrummet endast badkar. Dålig ventilation både på rummet och i badrummet. Bullrigt på gatan vilket var mycket störande eftersom man var tvungen att ha fönstret öppet. |
