The excelent attentive staff, who were not over eager. Great decor and atmosphere.

Everything was first class except for:

in a Grand Hotel you would not expect mold in the bathroom.

Quality of food (used room service and breakfast buffet)

Price of food (€ 35,- for a burger and fries via room service and € 30,- for breakfast buffet) is too high. I was given a room at the inner courtside of the hotel with absolutely no view; for € 210,- per night that is no value for money even for a renowned hotel such as The Grand No shops in the immediate area despite central location

I stayed one night in a big single room (queen bed) which was very delightful. I would love to return.

A luxury hotel, where everything is elegant and classy (and of course expensive). All the services are there for you: have a spa, order caviar to your room or get a babysitter. They'll organise it. The customer is the king. Very stylish rooms. At the bar you can also listen to live music performed by a pianist.

I asked the reception to pick up my luggage from my room at noon, but no one showed up. Not a big deal, but at a luxury hotel you shouldn't have to ask twice.

Elegant hotel, perfectly located. Not inexpensive but worth it.

I did not like that the bathroom had very little privacy.

The name says it all: this is a hotel that sets standards of excellence that so many "upmarket" hotels never quite achieve.

Could not book Mathias Dahlgren's restaurant. This is not the problem of the hotel - the staff really tried to help us.

Not having coffe in the room. I was in the fourth floor room 448 Whenever we get out of the room we used to smell food which wasn't fresh. Other than that everything was Excellent . Thank you

I travel weekly for business, but this hotel is really outstanding in all respects. The Bistro (1 star) is fantastic.

small room, noisy, rude staff, cold water in the bath, etc.. I do not recommend! There are much better hotels in Stockholm.

Beautifully decorated and maintained, close to places of interest and overlooking the sea. Cleanliness and friendly staff.

Mitchelin star menus were very limited to those who are vegetarian or do not like sea food.

The biggest problem that the hotel has: 1. Staff at the breakfast are totally lathargic and not interested in being there. Plates being removed before you have finished eating. 2. They cannot deal with a volume of guests turning up at once; typically at 1030 when they close the buffet at 1100. We had to que up for 10-15 min. Not acceptable with the price we paid. 3. Unless you are fluent in Swedish it is difficult to negotiate the trouble experienced, the hotel needs to be more in tune with the guests complaints.

Old luxury style but, at the same time, also very modern.

Really easy to get to, very good staff who are professional and friendly. They're keen to help - housekeeping gave me a UK power adapter, the business centre printed out my boarding pass for me, the maitre'd gave me a tour of the Smorgasbord and explained everything. I'd rank it as one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Europe.

My only sight complaint would be my room was a bit too hot and I had trouble working the aircon, apart from that I'd be keen to stay there again.

Comfort, amenities. The staff everywhere went out of their way to help us.

We had difficulty using our room phone to call room service to get a bucket of ice.

i verymuch liked most of the staff at the reception except for the first evening where they politely put me in a tiny room on the back but from the second day on they were all very helpful andi was very happy in a nice room. Thje restaurant hasd several excellent waiters --very kind and charming and the man of the terrace bar-the manager there was just the best i would love to return

I liked everything and the spa is wonderful
