This hotel is housed in 2 buildings dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, just 5 minutes’ walk from Stockholm’s Old Town. It offers city views and luxury beds. Many of Hotell Anno 1647’s rooms have original hardwood floors, classic décor and antique-style furniture. Others include modern photography and stylish design features. Set in the trendy Södermalm district, Anno 1647 is found close to second-hand clothes shops and vintage record stores. It also offers easy access to many restaurants, bars and clubs. Excellent staff. Perfect location (metro, walking, bars, restaurants and ferry to Djurgarden). Good and fresh breakfast and special diets catered for. Good internet connection. Good size room. Comfy bed. No BBC or Euronews (CNN only in English). Room on front, so views but a bit noisy at times. Room rather bland and peeling (what happened to design in 58?).

Great location! VerY helpful hotel staff. Light and airy rooms. Good breakfast. A nice walk from central station thru the old town to get to hotel. Would recommend it based on location.

Great staff very willing to give directions, make taxi arrangements, etc. I love the ambiance of the hotel and that it was old with a history. Being on the third floor with no elevator was very difficult because of luggage. Otherwise, the stairs were not a problem. The room was extremely small for two people as there was no room for luggage anywhere but under the beds.

Very central & easy to get to public transport.Staff were friendly & helpful. Room was small but comfortable & clean. Breakfast was great. Only stairs therefore if you ahev heavy luggage it needs to be carried up 4 flights of stiras if you are on the 4th floor as I was. But the staff were very nice & did carry my luggage as I was on my own.

Location was great. Friendly staff and rooms were average size for Europe No elevator and we got the 4th floor. It was also unseasonably hot in Stockholm and we only had 2 dormer windows (very tiny). When we did open the windows, it was very noisy on the street below so, had trouble getting a good night's sleep.

The location was perfect for me as it is easy to reach by T-bana from the Central Station and a very short walk to every location which I needed to reach. The accommodation was very comfortable and very good for someone on a brief business visit, as I was. That is why I have commented "Good" against "Value for money", having found that prices for most things in Sweden are high. It is an older style of hotel, which is the type that I anyway like. The breakfast was of very good quality and provided plenty of choice. I could check only three of the boxes above as I was on a brief business visit and needed to stay for two nights only. The service provided was very good and friendly. It did not concern me, so perhaps I should not say that it is something which "I didn't like", but the lack of a lift could mean that the hotel would not be suitable for a guest with physical impairment.

We had a quiet and clean room with view on the inner courtyard. Hotel has a large breakfast choice. Hotel location is very good. Close to metro station. A few minutes walk to historic town. A few minutes walk to the liveliest places at night in Sodermalm. Free wifi access in rooms is also appreciated.

Perfect location, in a brilliant area of Sodermalm and very close to Gamla Stan, also very close to the undergroound stop. Lovely room, very comfortable and quiet. Good breakfast in the mornings. The staff are very friendly and helpful, I will definitely stay there again.

service and location excellent. room beautifully designed if small. Staff were very helpful in recovering my passport left in a taxi. from a UK perspective the room was very expensive indeed for what it was, but I'm not familiar with how it compares with other hotels in Stockholm. I think the designation 'De Luxe' was misleading. Hotel has few facilities - no lounge, no bar, restaurant, snacks etc. Breakfast somewhat uninspiring (for the price paid).

i thought the location was fantastic and we really enjoyed the breakfast each morning i would have preferred a double duvet to two single ones and i didn't really quite how small the small double rooms would be

I love the location and the quality of the staff and room... The internet however was extremely slow and if I had needed to conduct any business I would have been very upset... even getting my airplane check in was a challenge... maybe it was a fluke .. I hope so as the rest of the hotel was fantastic
