This central Helsingborg hotel is on the harbor, beside bus, train and ferry terminals. Guests can enjoy sea and city views in addition to a popular breakfast buffet.

Score from 171 reviews Good

Score from 788 reviews Very good
pet friendliness, breakfast, spacious room
furniture was a bit worn down.
We have been in this hotel before (10 months ago). Now it is very dirty- in particular the toilet that had mold growing everywhere. The price is cheap and the hotel old but well maintained. However, being such a dump, it is certainly not a recommended place.
Pleasant toom. Nice bathroom, good shower. Friendly staff. Food portions too big.
There was an event on so parking was difficult, especially as parking spaces too narrow resulting in many spaces unusable. Otherwise, all good.
The breakfast, an excellent varied choice. The location of the hotel. The Wi-Fi.
The heated towel rail was physically disconnected so there was no heat for the towels or the shower room. The radiator did not work it obviously had an airlock.
Road construction outside that went on all night
Very clean, tidy and spacious. Good staff. Good breakfast. Plenty of free parking. Some good eating locally.
Road works currently make access difficult.
Possibility to have 3 people in a room. Otherwise, everything as usual in similar standard hotels.
Parking spaces are lined too tight in front of the hotel.
location towards the highway. You're out of the center. So if you want to taste Helsingborg and the harbor, this hotel is not the best
- Their rates vary per day. The receptionist explained this to be equal to the airline system. - for the price-segment the breakfast is poor. - the "bar" means buying a beer at the lobby. However due to lack of personal you have to wait for ages to buy a consumption.
the room was clean and tidy
the breakfast room looked like a canteen. the main bed was confortable but the 3nd and 4th in the faimly room were very bad. luckily I was on my own so no need for them. Localtion is not far from centre but not in the centre either
We visitied during warm summer period, no ventilation in room.
Very nice, very quiet hotel. Friendly personnel. Free parking, which is a substantial advantage for Helsingborg. Convenient location: the center of the city and the beach area is easily 20 min walk; nice park with a number of good playgronds for children nearby. Small but nice relax area with a sauna and jacuzzi on the 9th floor. Stable WiFi. Breakfast (included) is diverse enough, especially a variety of types tea. One more thing: it might be a small point but it adds to the impression from the hotel that free coffee and tea with cookies as well as cool water with and without gas are always available at the lobby, plus free ice dispenser on each floor. Summarizing the above, the feeling of comfort is permanent there all over the hotel.
Only two things: 1) It is a pity that no air conditioning, at least, in family rooms. 2) Vacuum cleaning is not good enough as dust remains under the beds, the sofa, the heater and even on the bottom of the wardrobe, while the rest of room servicing is OK.
the price, the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was excellent
no air conditioning, the pull out bed was not very comfortable for the kids
Breakfast was ok. Not any rich, but still ok.
Air conditioning [centrally managed] was formally present but didn't work as expected; due to 23-25 C outside at day time it was very hot in the room at nights, but we were offered a portable ventialtor by a lady at the reception. This helped.
We stayed twice on our recent trip to Sweden, once going north, and again on the way back. Both times we arrived quite late in the day but this was not a problem. Large car park, pleasant public areas, helpful efficient staff, easy access from motorway, quiet comfortable room, large breakfast room, filling station next door, not expensive for a hotel of this type.
The location isn't brilliant for pedestrians, it was a good 20 minute walk to the harbour and not through the best part of town either. There aren't any restaurants close by as far as I could see. Also while it is easy to get to the hotel from the E4, if you are going back out the same way it is difficult to get back on the E4 as it is a dual carriageway - you can't turn left and once on it, there is no easy way to turn round.
Location, price, food ok
Booked ahead to save time checking in as we were driving 500km in a vintage car that day. No record of our booking on arrival, then asked us to wait while they checked other guests in which was unacceptable. Sent is to a room on the 7th floor which had no bed linen or towels, had to go back down to reception to get another room. Back up to the 7th floor to find a room that was made, finally got a room only to find out later the toilet didn't flush. No discount offered for all the grief we encountered despite asking
almost everything! Great value for money
it was a bit old... but nothing very important. it is in good shape.
Felt rather old
The sauna and cold bubble bath were wonderful!
Everything was great
Nice staff, big room, comfortable beds and armchairs, nice hall and restaurant, it was clean...
The room was very noisy; was it the gym right on top, as the room was on the 8th floor?, impossible to sleep till very late...(people dropping heavy weights, jumping, and the noise of some machine...)+Neighbours banging the doors, which were heavy. After every shower, the whole bathroom was flooded...and the room was very cold during the day, as the heating didn't seem to be working. When I checked, the sauna wasn't working, nor was the only treadmill in the little gym, and the weights available were definitely not for everyone (either 2kg or...10kg and up). Anyway the gym was freezing cold (10º, I would assume?). The twin beds are also uncomfortable for a couple, even though the quality was good and they would have been fine as single beds. The bathroom sink was clogged, which we discovered by the first use, and stayed clogged, even though the cleaning team visited the room daily and otherwise did an excellent job...
- really nice breakfast, very varied and with very good things - spacious sauna, with windows - big LCD in the room
- dodgy wifi - clearly needs a renovation, everything looks like in the 80s, which makes the hotel a bit depressing - the room wasn't really clean
- free parking; - calm and peaceful place; - tee, coffee in the room; - friendly atmosphere.
