Hotell Zäta  

This Hotel is a short taxi ride from Ostersund Central Station (approx 120 sek for a minibus) and in the middle of a shopping street with plenty of nearby bars and restaurants. We stayed here as we were leaving from the Airport the following morning (Taxi approx 430 sek). Jan behind reception was very helpful and friendly and also doubled up as bar man and breakfast provider.

There were several families staying in nearby rooms and the sound proofing is not perfect so at times it was pretty noisy. We had kids running around in the corridors at night.

The person on the desk was extremely helpful to our group, quickly arranging another double room for us when we realized the 'suite' was not meant for four adults to share but would be perfectly fine for a family of four with two of the four being young children. In addition, he booked us dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant that was excellent and fully met our needs for a nice meal with table service after our earlier experiences of dining at pizzerias and Max due to traveling during Midsummer holidays. (Many restaurants and shops are closed during Sweden's annual Midsummer celebration)

We found the rooms quite warm which seems to be true in general in Swedish hotels. Otherwise comfortable and good value for the money.

The extra beds was not good.

I liked the location, nearby shops.

The heating in the room did not work. The room was small and ther was no luxury what so ever. The tv was verry small.

Fantastisk trevlig och tillmötesgående personal!! De fixade snabbt rum för en natt till och hörde av sig snabbt. Hotellet är som ett litet familjehotell med hemkänsla. Små rum, men fullt tillräckliga. Jättebra läge mitt I centrum, dock svårt att hitta med bil eftersom det är enkelriktad nästan överallt. Bra med garage I källare. Rekommenderas varmt/Lena.

Kunde erbjuda varmgarage. Trevligt litet hotell, lite slitet rum men ok ändå. Bra frukost och trevlig personal :-)

Hotellet er av dårlig beskaffenhet, rommene fremstår som skitne ,med slitt innventar, heldekkende teppe på gulv som så skittent ut og dårlig lukt. Familierommet som vi bestillte hadde kun to oppredde senger. Badet var uten badekar og av en standar som ikke har sett oppussing siden 80'tallet. Prisen står ikke til forventningene eller I forhold til generelle pris vs. Standar ved andre kjente hotell. Betjeningen var hyggelig og behjelpelig med å finne et rom på et annet hotell.
