Långholmen Hotell  

Great novelty value, comfortable and clean rooms, quietly situated in a park with easy access to public transit.

Beautiful location, clean and modern facilities, good breakfast selection - plus points for the porridge :-) I would recommend Långholmen to couples, friends or business travelers. I stayed in the wintertime but think it would probably be really beautiful in the spring/summer.

The theme of the hotel (a prison hotel) has been nicely implemented in the design and decoration.

The rooms are relatively small, but it was fine for this price and theme.

A lovely hotel with a difference. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Good WiFi. Clean. Modern.

Not really a dislike but both times we stayed we had rooms with bunkbeds, which is fine and fun but for me and my wife was a little strange but was fine.

I really liked the quitness from the hotel and it was a great experience. the Nature around it is beautiful

Unusual setting, nice atmosphere.

The novel island-type setting, and the fact that up until 1975, it was a prison. An interesting place to stay, with reasonable places to eat out a short walk away.

Original idea to create a hotel in former prison, ok for one day stay just for unique expirience but no longer

1. Price is too hight for offered standard, 2. too far from metro station, 3. very noisy place - I was woked up in the middle if the night when a group of guests came back to the hotel and start to talk laudly, 4. in spit of my request the personel forgot to wake me up in the morning one day...

It is a funny location, but with a lot of comfort. Never slept in a prison, it is nice to be able to walk out again. I can really recommend this hotel.

The interiors, the surrounding area, hotel facilities. Also the prison museum at the hotel was great.

- location: great for running, nice and quiete - helpful staff - room 307 had one big and one normal small window - close to pub transport

- very basic rooms (had double cell, though 2 single bds just don't make a proper queen size) - breakfast has gOod variety but all a bit mass market. Especially the turkey platter reminded me of a students brunch cafe - quite expensive for what you get for your money. - I was given a room for handicapped... Please don get me wrong: NO discrimination against elderly but i find that odd in a hotel room when paying 1.500 sek/night

Really enjoyed it, second time we have stayed here and would go back again. A unique and great place.

A very unusual hotel with a real history. A lovely beach across the road on the "green island" of Stockholm. A past prison converted to a hotel. A real experience. Center of town and very quiet.

I don't think I got a real reduction through Booking.com. The price seemed to be the same;

Breakfast was lackluster, particularly considering price, I was expecting a better quality spread (that is, more variety meats, more fruit, better coffee)

Location great for running. Great breakfast. Overall a great alternative to an ordinary hotel! was shifted into a doubel cell, when wlan didnt work in my room. nice & spacious.

Celldörren var otät. Störande ljud från korridoren. INGEN FRUKT I FRUKOST BUFFE´N. GATORNA ÄR EJ STÄDADE.

Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamer was klein (wat ik ook verwachtte) maar erg efficient ingericht. Mij heeft het aan niets ontbroken. Zelfs een strijkbout en -plank waren aanwezig.

Rolig miljö, centralt, fri parkering o Internet o en underbar frukost.
