This is a lovely place to stay. I suspect we had the cheapest room on the boat and we were definitely low down and dockside, but it mattered not. The room was clean and warm and the cosy bar upstairs had spectacular views of the old town. The outside seating area must be gorgeous in summer and it was still lovely for a brief visit even in the snow. Very nice hotel in a great location.
There were great views from the boat.
We struggled to get into the reception initially and had to be let in by a cleaner (midday). In doing so we had to climb over a hoover to get to front desk. The staff were friendly up in check in but the next day they were rude and unaccommodating. The hotel was in desperate need of a fresh in up (such as paint.....). No curtain for our port hole and we were on the land side so anyone could look into our room. Breakfast was unimpressive and the restaurant was poor.
Friendliness of the staff
Furnishing and bathrooms somewhat ripped, but good enough for the prize.
I really enjoyed my stay here, the location was amazing and the room very comfortable and clean. I can understand why some people don't like this place but it's a boat so the rooms are going to small but the view is great and the room warm and cosy. This is quite a basic room, no TV, no tea and coffee and no bath. But that being said the wifi works well, you are welcome to sit in the bar and relax and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The old town is an easy walk, as is the hipster part of Stockholm. Breakfast was nice and the resturant/bar was a lovely place to start the night. I had a great stay and can't wait to go back in summer.
This place could be awesome with just a few tweeks, tea and coffee in the room and maybe water and a glass, toilet paper was poor as was the soap.
The location is amazing, the room had shower and toilet. Cheap way to stay in the city center.
I didn´t expect much for the money I´ve paid, my room was very tiny, old and shabby. So if you are looking comfort, probably you wouldn´t like the hotel. The only thing I really didn´t like was the breakfast. There barely was anything to eat.
The staff were really friendly and happy to help. As some people mentioned, the rooms are on the small side but very comfortable. The bar area is a lovely place to sit and the food and drink is very reasonably priced.
It would have been good to have a hair dryer but it wasn't really a problem!
The room and the staff.
The toilet room smelled bad.
Restaurant good prices
Very cramped. Layout of the bathroom you had to walk through the shower to get to the toilet over wet floor. My wife & I actually found other accommodation but our daughters stayed
Cheap drinks in the bar Friendly staff Decent breakfast Amazing view from breakfast room
Sometimes took long to find staff
Lovely hotel near to Gamla Stan and public transport. We had a really nice room, even it was small, but we known it. Breakfasts were rich and tasty! And you can watch the sea and part of Stockholm during your meal. I would love to come back again.
In some part of the boat were little problems with wifi.
Staff were friendly and helpful and gave us a lot of great advice as well as a mini tour of the ship! Rooms (and showers) were lovely and warm despite it being a cold end of November, small but with everything necessary. The bed was cosy too. Restaurant really good value for money.
Everything was great but it was just one night... Thanks for all staff!
The location was very close to the Gamla Stan. Fairly cheap. Breakfast generous, but not too great quality.
The room we got was right next to the reception and the entrance door (Room 102), which was slightly noisy, but not too bad. Whilst the WIFI was, therefore, excellent, the room was of very poor quality. It was not like any one on the pictures and, furthermore, it was very dated, slightly rotten and the beds were more like camp beds than actual beds with proper mattresses and, therefore, not very comfortable. It was also not a double bed but two seperate beds of different hights. With a bit of renovation and new proper beds with proper mattresses this could be a much nicer room. The breakfast was enough, but of very poor quality, not what I am used to in Sweden, where you usually get lots of choice of nice bread and muesli and cheese products, even in cheap hostels.
not specially friendly staff
location, breakfast, staff is ok.price was the good in that period.pretty close to the historical district. thomas the boss is answering all your question.we were really happy for ours 4 days stay.in stocholm.
that is boat off course. bad size little bit small for the big person,s.
- Location - Comfort - Staff - Bar/Restaurant - Theme - Facilities
- Room size - Wi-fi doesn't work on the first floor but you can use it in the bar
- View from the boat - Quality of the cabine
I liked the either of living on a ship. The location was pretty good, 10-15min walk to Gamla Stan. The bed was quite comfy. I liked the breakfast there, it was pretty basic but the view over the city was so nice.
There was poor wifi connection in my room. I've checked 2 rooms and the toilets were dirty in both of them. The ship in general is a bit run down, needs renovation. It was quite dark in my room even during the day.
No kettle in the room and shelves.
The room is, of course, very small as it is a boat. But it was fine for my wife and I because we were more concerned with cleanliness and location. The location is perfect (amazing views of Gamla Stan). And you're close to the Sodermalm T-Bane which makes access to any point in the city (or outside it) very easy. The breakfast buffet was limited but adequate for our needs. And the staff were never rude or dismissive of our questions. I would recommend this place.
Nothing big here. It's nice.
We got a million dollar view of the city hall, good breakfast, warm room, friendly staff, private bathroom
The room is small and has low ceiling. The mattress is a bit slanted and smaller than full-size bed. Quite a walk from Gamla Stan station.
Difficult to find fault with the friendly helpful staff, great value restaurant and small but perfectly adequate rooms. Would not hesitate to stay there again - a perfect budget option
staff very nice and helpful, cleaning and wi-fi...lovely hotel with an amazing view!
breakfast was poor
The hotel provides excellent view of the city hall across the river and is near to the old town. Breakfast is included. The staff is very nice.
