The hotel is in the middle of the "old City". Near to all shopping, restaurant and historical sites. The hotel is very small - rooms are very small too.

Location, interior, roof 1. Wi-fi works not well, was too hard to catch, disconnects 2. problem with payment: money on the card's been hold, but the hotel said that they haven't received it and we have to pay anymore. It's cost per 3 nights and it is not a little. I asked to send the fax to my bank that they don't need these money, but administrator couldn't do it. Don't know why. So now I have to wait one month

Great location and interesting concept of the hotel, not boring at all - feels like being on a ship and some centuries back in time. Friendly stuff. Rooms might be tiny for those who like to critiсize, but we personally didn't care too much.

The Nelson Hotel is in a great location in Gamla Stan and very well priced for a hotel its quality in the center of Stockholm's old town. As the hotel itself notes, the rooms are small - it is the narrowest hotel in all of Stockholm - but it has a nice public area near the entrance and in the heart of Gamla Stan, you won't have any need to spend much time in the hotel anyway. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast spread is good.

Amazing location, right in the middle of down town, at walking distance of everything. Got some character, very nice decorated. Helpful and friendly staff. Well, the rooms are small, I knew that before booking, but are still equipped with own bathroom, and is pretty cheap for Stockholm and Its location.

Location and the breakfast was good. Would be improved with better coffee... an espresso machine please. I liked the novelty of beeing in the 'thinnest' hotel and all the attempts to make it feel nautical. Small room but functional.

I chose it for its association with the British Royal Navy in the Napoleonic era and liked all the bits and pieces from those times displayed in the hotel as well as the poop deck at the top of the hotel and the nautical theme of the room. Friendly person to greet me when I arrived giving advice of alternate things to do, other than the usual touristic things and offered to help with arranging a medical appointment for me. The hotel is tiny so I guess they can't extend their breakfast room. Can get a little crowded if a large number of guests want breakfast at the same time. But there is nothing really I could complain about.

I liked its slightly quirky theme. It was very well located in the middle of Gamla Stan which is exactly where I wanted to stay. It was very enjoyable.

A very interesting hotel - size, layout and all the pictures and objects surrounding Lord Nelson's life. Based on Gamla Stan - the old quarter - it is in a superb position for restaurants and shops and also not far from the central station - we arrived from Copenhagen by train and caught the Arlanda Express to the airport to fly back to London. Our double room was comfortable and clean. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Two glasses were provided and a small fridge where you could keep any drinks etc. you bought. The breakfast buffet was rather limited for our English taste- buds - too much cold meat, only one type of cheese and no croissants.

Good location, clean room, good wifi. Room on the main street side: quite noisy at night and especially in the morning at 6 when they clean the street. Rooms are very small and there is no air conditioning, so sometimes you might feel a lack of air.

It's location in old town is perfect. If you're a lover of maritime history, this hotel of the place for you. Each room is decorated in maritime antiques and the lobby is like a small museum.

By extreme good fortune you had overbooked and had no room for us. We were therefore in an appartment close the The Victory and my comments relate to that hotel. The appartment was so much better than a hotel room we felt very lucky. I have given only fair to room cleanliness as we had room service on only one day of our 7-day stay. I liked your policy of charging a higher rate for shorter stays but by uk standards you are expensive. Very little to copmplain about except the lack of room service. We didn't complain at the time as we thought the apartment was possibly not entitled to it!

Location (Gamla Stan) is excellent. Note that this is the smallest hotel in all of Sweden. They don't advertise this, but the building is only 6 meters wide. Rooms are extremely small. You cannot properly sit on the toilet in the small bathroom. Decoration is tacky. Breakfast room is about 20 sq. Meters right beside reception desk, with not a lot of choice.
