Mornington Hotel Stockholm

El hall con tantos libros es muy bonito y la posibilidad de desayunar rodeado de ellos tiene su encanto. El buffé del desayuno es muy amplio y tiene casi de todo. Hay muy cerca una estación de metro y está cerca del centro y de sitios de visita.

Nuestra habitación era grande y cómoda pero sosa e insulsa. No tiene persianas, aunque había una que no funcionaba, aun así se veía que era transparente y por lo tanto que no taparía la claridad que se filtraba através de las cortinas, ya que allí la noche dura poco en verano. Pero en Estocolmo en general vimos que no existen persianas como en España para tapar totalmente la luz. Dos enchufes no funcionaban y aunque el baño tenía de todo lo necesario se veía que necesitaba una reforma aunque al menos estaba limpio. El ascensor es cutre tipo retro pero le faltan sistemas de seguridad como unas puertas que se cierren y no veas el pasar de las plantas. Anunciaban conciertos en vivo todos los días y allí no había nada de eso.

Situacion comoda centro ciudad

Esta en el centro de la ciudad a la cual puedes ir caminando a cualquier sitio. El trato recibido es bueno. Las instalaciones bastante bien.

La habitación pequeña. Nos la dieron en la ultima planta a la cual no llegaba el ascensor por lo cual tuvimos que subir las maletas por las escaleras. El parking demasiado caro e incomodo de aparcar. El baño muy pequeño.

Estuvimos en la habitacion 219 segunda planta. El hotel impecable. Habitacion totalmente limpia, equipada y comoda. El desayuno muy completo y variado y amplio horario para desayunar..Habitacion 219 esta orientada al patio interior con jardines y terraza. Muy silenciosa. Sin ruidos. Baño limpio y perfecto. Perfecta situacion al lado de stureplan (plaza del champiñon) y de las lujosas galerias STUREGALLERIAM...y de zona de disco y pubs de moda.

El precio.

Helpfull personnel, clean rooms, great location. We had a superiour room. We stayed a day longer in Stockholm, so easiest would be to stay at this hotel. The girl at the reception was very helpfull and was sorry she could only offer a standard room as they were heavily booked. This standard room however, was much better than our superior room we initially had. It was much more designerish than the superior room. Summarised: don't take the superiour room, unless you really need the extra 3 square meters. I would surely recommend this hotel in a Stockholm pricerange of €100-€120,- There's slightly better hotels,but they cost much more

Elevator area is a bit run-down but seems to be in renovation...? ; Superiour room was not bad but a bit run-down ; wine in the hotel lobby is heavily overpriced (starts €10 for a glass) compared to Stockholm prices (Beers are priced quite ok) so if you want to end the evening with a wine before going to sleep, bring your own bottle!

Just Excelent... Nice place to stay!!...Near the subway.. just 15 min walking to the city center....great breakfast....perfect hotel

Room was clean. We booked with breakfast, it was an International breakfast with ketbular kötbular ok you know, I mean the little meat balls. Most of the guest were from sweden. All the tourist sights are near the hotel.

Not much-see below. Visited two of my colleagues at their hotels and felt deeply jealous-my room was tiny, shabby and dingy (I am not very hard to please and spend about six weeks a year in various hotels-this was just the worst. Would highly recommend Radison Blu or the Story hotel instead - also better located.

When I came the elevators weren´t working-through the remainder of my four day stay only one of them worked-I was on the 4th floor so a lot of my time was spent waiting for the lift. The room was tiny and rather shabby (dust-balls on the wall and in desperate need of a paint job) and the furniture old and shabby. The shower in the tiny bathroom didn´t work properly (I had to hold the shower head while taking a shower). But perhaps worst of all the staff wasn´t friendly and the breakfast staff actually looked as if it was being paid for sulking. No one ever, neither at the restaurant nor the reception said Good morning r smiled! The free internet- didn´t work till my last night-I got no help at reception because of this and was treated rude.

The breakfast was great, reception staff pleasant and helpfull beds really comfortable

Great hotel, nice design, has a library feel. Staff was friendly and upgraded my room for free. Fast internet connection, 2-3 restaurant across the street, 20 minutes walk away from major attraction and shopping.

The hotel seems a bit crowded, especially during breakfast. Also, garage is a bit narrow, so don't expect any parking if you are driving a bigger car or passenger van. Roadside parking is next to impossible even at night as there seems to be a number of residents who live in the area.

Restaurant expensive unless one takes “theatre-menu”, bar area good. Too few tables for breakfast and very noisy. No maintenance service during weekend, faulty lamp in bathroom (almost impossible to shave) not repaired despite three remarks at the reception. Garage space for small/medium cars, very narrow. Response to e-mail only after three days.

Nice staff. Breakfast was very good.

The room we had booked was not the kind of room we expected. There was a possibility to change it, so we did.
