Great staff, nice large building with lots of character, breakfast - much better than on the Hurtigruten boat we were just on!
Its a nice hotel in a huge building but its really surprising how small the hot tub, gym and sauna are. If you could get more than 10 people at 1 time in either it would be a squeeze! A shame since the gym has just been refurbed.
Generous room size, breakfast excellent, felt very welcome at the reception desk, the receptionists were always ready to help and were most kind, loved the 24-hour tea service, bathroom excellent, simple and clean style in general, perfect location - absolutely beautiful surroundings and views
room too dark, expensive parking
It was poor that the spa was closed during our stay.
Good hotel for conference at Eriksberg.
Too far from city centre - not a hotel for a shopping weekend or a night out on the town.
Breakfast was ok. Location is ok, easy access by boat.
1. the room was like an ice cave, big and the heating system was not working properly. 2. we got an email informing us that the relaxation area is closed, after we reserved the room (there was no mention of that on their web site or on Booking.com). 3. the rooms need renovation Definitely, not worth the money!
There was no soap in the bathroom (empty).
Clean and large hotel. Little trendy bar overlooking the river. Easy boat to the town. Great place to stay if you dont want to pay for the central hotels.
A bit far away from centre but its only a small city. Not really a problem
excellent breakfast buffet, considerate staff
I would like deals if staying for more than a few days, as could prove costly
very large room, excellent bed. Very nice location and modern architecture.
little bit noisy from the inside area (which is a large "open hall")
Across the river from central Gothenburg but ferry stops right outside the door. Quiet location, large rooms with good view. Good breakfast selection.
Loud noises travelled from next door room due to structure of old building.
The location was fab, also the building itself with the interiors - loved it...
We booked the hotel solely on the basis of it having a hottub on the rooftop bit - so we were gutted when we found that it was not working. But - once we got over the disappointment we headed out to the docks, where we found great food and views across the river, also lots of stuff for the kids to climb on..
Cinema for the children twice per day. Location by the waterfront.
Location far from city center and tourist attractions. Cleaning the worst I have experienced. Heaps of dust under the bed (even a toy!), lipmarks and toothpaste on glasses, refilling neglected. Noise readily transported from one room to another through the overdimensioned steel beams transversing the room (former shipbuilding industry...). Most room entrances were facing a large open space. This meant that noise from heavy doors, running children etc spread easily between floors. No hostess at breakfast. Warm breakfast had 4 dishes - 3 of these were meat dishes, the fourth was pancaces /or beans/ or broccoli. No scrambled eggs, no porridge, eggs had random boiling time. Most of top floor spa facilities closed for maintenance 5/5 days during our stay.
Perfect for those who like a no-frills hotel. Good, quiet location across the bay that is directly connected to the city centre via a ferry after 9.00 am. Excellent breakfast.
Over priced for what essentially is a no-frills hotel.
Excellent hotel. Modern, clean and lots of charm. Great set up for family of 4.
Ease of getting to Gothenburg centre by ferry from in front of hotel. Right on the river with lots to see and places to eat/ drink
Cool that it is located in an old ship yard.
Small room, with 4 beds.
Quiet area and good starting point for exploring Gothenburg.
Would be nice to be able to make coffee in the room.
Friendly Staff and nice location
Easy to get to the centre of Gothenburg by ferry boat
Quality indeed, stayed with a group of friends for a party.. Friendly staff, great breakfast, overall nice experience for second stay in 2 years, great accomodation for datastorm
The wifi connection on phones kicks out a needs manual restart on wifi.. But that is a minor inconvenience
Good location for visiting Volvo. Good restaurant
