Radisson Blu Strand Hotel, Stockholm    

Had booked a business room but was upgraded to a wonderful suite on the fourth floor. Excellent.

Nice view to the waterfront, good location, tasty breakfast.

Thin walls, so you can hear all the people in rooms next to you. Big bed made of two and it was falling apart during the night, not so comfortable.

The air-conditioning was a too noisy in our room, and we had a hard time figuring out how to turn it off so we could sleep.

No restaurant open during our stay, no bar open after midnight (=new years eve...), no room service after midnight. Not able to have a glass of wine after midnight, only minibar in room...

The location, good breakfast, everything functioned well at the reception. The hotel was quiet and the view to the harbor was beautiful.

One lamp was missing in our room.

Never had Such a small room for so much money. Hotel does not deserve 5stars. It is totally outdated in services.

The location is excellent, as so many of the main attractions in the city are within walking distance. The room was warm and cosy with a magnificent view. (We had a superior room with a harbour view). It's also situated on a relatively quiet road so there was very little noise. The buffet breakfast was very good and the staff friendly and polite at all times.

When we arrived our safe was not working, and it took a little while and several men to fix it. However the staff were immediately attentive, and all had been fixed by the time we returned form our evening outing. Also I would have preferred a firmer mattress, although my husband says he was really comfortable.

I liked the location

Did not think the service at breakfast was great, no fried eggs, self service of coffee, cups and cutlery several times as none provided on table. Also, the room was rather small for two persons. There was great confusion at the reception as I had extended my stay by one night, and that led to difficulties in providing keys, billing etc.

Paid extra for harbor view room but alas the only water view was around the corner if one leant far enough out the window. Also the bathroom was novel...about the size of a broom closet.

first floor room and you can forget about the WLAN, coffee maker and some lights broken and no one came to fix the problems. Well, it was weekend. But the light was the night lamp and room was supposed to be business room.

The only good point is location itself. The rest is really disappointed. We booked the room for 6 days . But ran away next day .From the minute you arrive you feel cheated by all info they posted on the web. The lobby is tiny with one receptionist. Next to it one and only restaurant that smells you don't want even try the food they served. Rooms are filled with old and smelly furniture. In addition. floor covered with pretend - to be - Persian carpet . And OMG how dirty a d old in a bad way it is. Don't suggest even to try. We changed this hotel to Grand and been happy for the rest of the trip.

The location was perfect, the breakfast buffet was also good. As for the room, the beds were nice and soft and very comfortable.

We came 2 x 3 days, with a weekend elsewhere in between. The first time the room with bathroom was small but just ok. When we came back for 3 days I expected at least the same or better. (Fidèle to come back..) the room however was really small and the bathroom was rediciously small and unacceptable: no room to even stand with 2 persons and hardly space to turn around for one person between the bath, toilet and lavabo. I have never seen a bathroom as small in the entire world. This was room 211. The "lounge" and breakfast tables are part of the reception area, not very cosy at all. There are no further facilities: no bar, no gym or pool or spa. Thought a Radisson had more to offer.

Dining room staff unprofessional and poorly trained. Dining choices poor and limited.
