After just one night sleep my body is covered by strange red dots..maybe you should consider to clean properly the room and not to leave the cleaning to guests

could not get bed linen, as there was nobody at reception at 10 p.m. though it is stated it's open till 12

Good deal for the price

The location is good, just behind the train station and round 10 mins walk from the center. There is a kitchen with nice living/ dining space and you can get free tea/coffee/pasta/rice and use a fridge. Everything is nice and clean.

it is extremely noisy at night, but it is more a factor of kind of people staying there who don't care at all about others and make a lot of noise so you can hardly get any sleep. Plus reception works only few hours a day, so make sure to contact them about the door and key box code prior your arrival, otherwise you might not get in. and make sure to take care of the sheets, either bring urs and ask for them in advance/

Near train station, 10 mins from airport and 10 min walk from Nykoping centre, everything we needed! Kids really liked it.

Very nice hotel. I would recommend Railway Hostel to every body who likes individual trips. Hostel is situated at raiway station 100 km from Stokholm and within 1 hour trip on foot from Skavsta airport. Service was very good

There was noisy people and as long as the staff is not there all the time you can't really do anything against that. You have to clean your room by your own otherwise you have to pay an extra so it's not really clean everywhere.

Very good position near both to Skavsta airport and to central station in Nykoping which can be used to reach Stockholm. Very quiet.

I don't understand towels and sheets as extras. My mattress was uncomfortable. Nothing else.

The location of railway hostel is perfect! It is outside the railway station of Nykoping (just follow the arrows you can find it in 5 minutes). Opposite the railway station, is a bus to skavasta airport which is an airport for ryanair. The hostel even provides timetable of the bus to the airport which helped us a lot. The staff are quick to response my e-mail.

I didn't find wifi in my room.

Love the character homely feel of the hostel. Nice cosy living room with tv and worn seats, kitchen with free coffee/tea, all utencils, oven, microwave. Everything there for food preparation. Interesting leaflets for visiting nykoping and surrounding area. The hostel felt welcoming and had character, and that made my stay there much more comfortable. Also as the name suggests, it is conveniently located near the railway station. I'll definately stay here again on my next trip to skavska. The rooms also single and private (unlike a dormintiry) which is obviously a benefit.

Hallway slightly noisy and every noise echoed. Wifi is not free, the owners need to start offering free wifi in order to match the current trend of hostels today (it is after all inexpensive and may help attract more guests) Arrived at the hostel to find the reception closed (info to phone reception). Fortunately a swedish couple arrived with a phone and listened to the instructions for access code to door and key safe. Again it would have been a inconvenience for those without a phone or non swedish/english speaking. Since we had no reception for the whole duration of the stay, security could be an issue for this unoccupied building. Nevetheless I enjoyed my stay here more than I have at other hostels around sweden and europe.

Nice little kitchen and cosy little common area. Rightbehind the main train station but quiet. Free coffee/tea.

Small basic (beds, lamp, little table) rooms, but that was expected. Only problem is that no one was there and we had the doorcode, but we had to call to get the code together our key. Also not really good luggage storage.

Great Location next to the station and the bus stops for the Airport which was very handy.

Couldn't complain about anything however did have trouble getting in touch with the hostel to gain access to the building, however this was sorted very quickly.

It's location and the living room ...

Everything was organized and new however it laced cleanness ... The hostel in general wasnt that clean .

It's close to the airport, the railway station and the bus, which is convenient if you intend to catch an early flight back to Paris and reg. buses are very comfortable and drivers helpful. You always pay the trip in the bus by Visa card or similar, never using cash. In the evening the backpackers came together in the sitting room to have their in advance prepared meal, sipping their teacup to listen to the others relating impressions of the day and watch TV. Just like a family ! I would like to add that staying in beautiful Nyköping would never have been so nice without the friendly and helpful people of Nyköping and the fine owners of Railway. A trifling treat !
