Centrally located in the old town with al lot of restaurants, bars and shops. On walking distance of the central shoppingstreet of Stockholm and also a lot of musea on 30 min walking distance The quality of the bed/mattress was quite poor. The hotel provided an extra mattress; it helped a little but after a week my back was quite bad. |

The location is superb, in the heart of the old town, really pretty. The intimate, turn of century atmoshpere is very charming. Coffee and lovely biscuits are available for the guests in a traditional style cupboard in reception at all times, thus making the elegant reception area a very welcoming place to stop in. On the whole, this is a super charming, very special place to stay in Stockholm. |

The hotel serves an excellent breakfast and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. Many of the Stockholm attractions are within walking distance as are several good restaurants. Smallest double room that we have ever stayed in during our extensive travels through Europe. |

Wonderfull polyglot, knowledgeable, patient, helpful, smiling staff ! Beds really comfortable. I admired the many discreet touches I discovered in the rooms : "green"(not wasteful), thoughtful and practical. The situation : history, culture, arts. Close to transport and beautiful harbour so close. I love the Gustavian atmosphere ! Here is an idea : it would be even better if the old velvet curtains were covered with the delightful blue and white checked linen. It would keep the warmth but look more up-to-date, fresh ... and Swedish. The incredibly, use-less, miniature washbasin in room 102 ! a thought : the situation of the cooked-breakfast in that awkward corner slows down the process. |

We really enjoyed this charming hotel in a really good location in Stockholm. Breakfast was probably the best I have ever seen in a hotel, well served, generous and tons of selection. We also found a nice spot to enjoy a bottle of wine on the roof among the chimney pots. Really lovely, not fancy and we felt great value for money. |

Location and breakfast. Window of the room I was staying was directly to the street, so all nights I listened to clamours and hoops from the area and sometimes it was too much... |

The breakfast buffet was wonderful. There were so many choices and everything was fresh and beautifully presented. The hotel is in easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, cafe's and water transportation to activities on other islands. Even though it is in lively old town our room was quiet even with the window open. Only one small closet and no drawers. We were there for a week and had to more or less live out of our suitcases. I liked the chair and side table but would have happily given them up for a dresser with deep drawers so that we could unpack. |

is a good hotel, but I'd not think to return there. The bathroom is minuscule and the room is very small and has many furniture. In the room I have a impression I was in closed in a box. The breakfest is very good To take off some furniture of the room |

It was a perfect place after a three weeks sailing holiday - we appreciated the wonderful bathroom, the cosy room, the historical ambiente... It was very comfortable to go to a very well sorted breakfast buffet (even opening earlier because of our early flight!) and the location in the most charming part of Stockholm! We got good guidance for our last activities- a cruise in the canals and a good dinner - as well! We were actually sorry that it was only one night - we are thinking of taking a city trip to Stockholm soon for staying a little longer! The beds were not very "substantial" - had there been a real double bed, we would have taken our eight year old in between us, but they kept sliding from each other, so we used the third bed provided - and then the room was filled up with beds... A minor thing though, we coped well and enjoyed the stay! |
