The location is excellent, very close to the train station. The breakfast was very good, with a variety of warm and cold dishes, and the restaurant at the top floor had a very cozy atmosphere.

It's difficult to find it, since the name Robinson is not advertised at the building entrance, it's actually called Hotel Pigalle (even the invoice is on the name hotel Pigalle, no Robinson whatsoever). The shared bathroom is ok if you only stay for one night, but wouldn't recommend it for longer stays. The bed sheets are clean, but there is no attention for other details in the room (f.ex. the curtains also need to be washed once in a while).

Noisy but what do you expect, it's in the heart of the city

The STAFF! Brilliant, helpful, charming, funny, friendly and great looking! The concept of the hotel, the female voice at the lift, the music at the lobby, very well thought! Breakfast area fantastic too! I think I never enjoyed any hotel in my life that much! It wasn't perfect, but it had the soul!

I'd like to have a little shampoo/conditioner/shower gell. I expected, but didn't find any.

That one could choose a cheaper room, which did not have a toilet or shower. That was fine facilities and location.

It was really cold in the bedroom. You heard much from the outside. Close to our window it was a major hub for trams which sounded very much.

Very near railway and bus stations, convenient for onward journey. Better standard than backpackers hostel, but not luxurious.

Amazing location, good value when breakfast is also included. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious enough and had a sink which was useful. Right next to tram stops, very useful for the islands and for Liseberg park.

The bathroom nearest room 205 wasn't too great but the larger one down the hall was fine. Very deceiving as there is no sign for this hotel outside, only for "Hotel Pigalle" so we went to ask for directions and thought we were in luck for the amount we paid and the look of the place! It was very very upper class. But once you go upstairs and through to the Hotel Robinson part it is completely different. I don't know why they don't have a sign for Hotel Robinson. Also the staff didn't tell us the toilet code on check-in so I had to ask the cleaner. They also didn't tell us that breakfast changes locations from floor 1 to floor 4 over weekend/weekday stays. No cash is accepted either. The room was very hot, luckily is wasn't too hot out when we stayed but in summer it would be a problem, the tram stop is right by the hotel so with the window open you'd have a lot of noise.

Very good location. Muy buena ubicación.

Not hot water in the shower!! dirty blankets ... young and unprofessional staff. Hotel Robinson is like a like a theater. Very bright lights show but very seedy backstage!!I will never back. Sin agua caliente en las duchas . Mantas con manchas muy dudosas. Personal muy jóven y poco proofesional. . El hotel Robinsoon es como un teatro. Un gran espectáculo pero con un backstage desoladoramente cutre!

hard to find! no indication of the Robinson hotell… it's hosted by the Palace hotel (and with this indication you catch it immediately!)

The entrance & hallway ask part of the Palace Hotel are incredible! Great decoration, great vibe, really cool

As you go into the Hotell Robinson side it becomes more basic, which is fine for the price. But although it said wifi, the signal was so poor you couldn't use it. Although I made a point of booking a double room (not a twin) - I got 2 beds pushed together, which is NOT a double. I may as well have paid less & got a single room. A little noisy from outside.

We really liked the reception and restaurant area, the design was really nice!

That the rooms weren't up to date the same way as the rest of the hotel was. In the corridors outside the rooms you could for an example see the wires and parts of the ceiling was missing. .

I can accept the separate toilets but the toilet and shower room are in the worst possible condition ever. One doesn't dare set a foot there.

Hotel name changed to Palace Hotel so it was confused. The reception at night could not find us an electrical adaptor but the one in the morning can get one for us. Both opened the same cabinet!

near to the central station, and to some walking in the town, service ok, breakfast excellent, comfort ok, some noises of the trams, but not aprblem

decoration poor, clean but bathroom not so neat due to old floor; old "palace" being refurbished at minimum cost.

Very near to Nordstan shopping mall and to the central train station. Staff was kind enough to pack our breakfast to take away due to our early morning departure.

Hotel was under renovation and messy. Lift did not work and we had to climb the stairs with our heavy luggage.
