Swedish breakfast is absolutely great! Rooms are spacious and very comfortable to stay at.

Bathroom with a shower in it is so small, so you have to keep a door open.

sauna a bit small

Very bad or no service. I have forgotten my toothbrush and wanted to buy one. They refused to bring it to my room (I was already in my night gown) because they don't offer such service. Well, they Charge for 4 sqm big room a fortune and if this Price is even without service then just take another hotel in Stockholm. There are several options with better or the same prices but with service.

I was there for just one day and found it a pleasant and easy stay

only one thing was - breakfast was very overcrowded.

Breakfast room was terrible with dirty dishes on almost every free table. Disgusting. Where was the staff?

I liked the room design, simple and different from other hotels, with some sort of a personal touch; the large windows and the high ceiling of the room, the Face/Stockholm cosmetics in the bathroom, the location (and the quietness despite the central location).

I didn't like the extra long way from the elevator to my room, but this is the case of large hotels in general.

Excellent central location with a well appointed, stylish room, albeit quite small.

Extremely difficult to find room with signage being next to useless. Would have liked tea/coffee making facilities.

Nothing I didn't like

Great location, just round the corner from the main station.

Many hotels in the district and tried most of them over the years. This was on par with many of the others, though a little more pricey. Gym is tiny - had to wait 25mins to get on only bike; there are also only 2 tread- mills and one cross trainer. Restaurant couldn't seat me for at least 45 mins for dinner, so went to bar (more limited menu), after 20 mins waiting, got fed up and ordered room service. Stayed in single room - not possible to turn off all the lights without cutting power to room altogether (remove key card from wall socket) meaning you can't charge anything - consequently had to sleep with lights on; very, very annoying (and I did get out of bed 4 times to check I wasn't just being stupid; seriously there is no switch for the lights outside the bathroom!).

Hotel bar has wonderful menu, quick, tasty, plus live music on Wednesday night. Swedes themselves reccomended Scandic's restaurant.

Good Location

I normally stay at cheap hostels in Sweden, but this was the new year. The hotel was worth the extra money (especially as some prices in Berlin were silly up to about 50 euro dorm in a hostel, not a centrally located quality hotel in Stockholm. From entering the building this was far superior well done scandic.

Not the fault of scandic but a lot of small bars seemed to shut early. The hotel bar open so I had somewhere to go.

New hotel, comfortable bed, free wifi, clean room, iron and ironing board available in the room.

Breakfast was nice with the exception of the orange juice, made from concentrate, that tasted more like squash than juice.

Definitely staff, I mean, there's a receptionist at the reception, 'he' was unkind, unfriendly and didn't even say thank you-I said so!- . I definitely won't stay there anymore. Never ever and won't recommend.
