The Sheraton Stockholm Hotel far exceeded our expectations ... we booked the hotel in February for our August break as the price was exceptionally low for such a super hotel. We expected to have a mediocre room but instead we had a beautiful room with lots of space in the lap of luxury. The staff were very pleasant and most obliging. As our booking was on a Room Only basis we didn't eat in the hotel but we did avail of the BBQ on Friday night and this was second to none. I have been in Stockhom many times before but have always stayed with my family. I love the city but this time I have seen another side to it and will certainly recommend the hotel. Many thanks

The chairman of our board arrive at 07.30 from New York and had to wait in the lobby until 14.30 until they could make one room ready for him. I was waiting in the lobby from 07.00 and I saw at least thirty people check out. Clearly their room staff were unable to get one room ready for my chairman. The under manager said that check-in time was 15.30 and was totally inflexible. If he had worked for me I would have dismissed him on the spot, as it was quite clear some rooms were ready by 10.00, I saw this on my floor. The restaurant is extremely costly and very overpriced, service is very good. The breakfast is good but their is no facility for a light continental breakfast at a more modest price. The service for food at the bar is terrible.

The rooms are a little more spacious than other standard rooms at other 5 star hotels. Hi all - if you're looking for a good 5 star luxury hotel, then you probably will be disappointed by the Sheraton. Firstly - there are probably only 1 or 2 people at reception at one time. So checking in and checking out (or even just asking questions!) takes a long time to queue up and wait wait waaaait.. If you're booking through someone like Booking.com or other discount agents, then be prepared to get the most low rung rooms. With views of an ugly court yard. You are made to feel like you're a bit of a second class citizen when you enquire at check-in if it is possible to get a room with a decent view. Was a little embarrassing actually. "Sorry - you booked through Booking.com, so if you want a room with a view you'll have to pay extra". No bath in the bathroom - just showers. Not great for relaxing. Room isn't made up and cleaned till well in the afternoon - roughly up to 5pm. No ice machine on our floor (3rd floor). So - I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Nice staff, nice hotel, perfect breakfast-buffet. Charging customers for Wi-Fi in 2012 is really bad. Even Norwegian airlines have free Wi-Fi now. Pay attention, it's 2012!!

This is my second year to stay in Stockholm and on both occasions have stayed in the sheraton. This year i booked My one night in stockholm centre, one night in Kiruna and then came back to Stockholm again for our last night. On our last night we booked the Radisson as it was slightly cheaper and when we arrived the hotel did not meet our expectations but fortunately the Sheraton accomodated us for a reasonable price and their customer service skills are unbelivable and really made sure that we had an amazing last night in Stockholm, we also upgraded our room which over looked Stockholm old town Gamla Stan which is beautiful. We also ate dinner in their 360 restaurant, lovely atmosphere with amazing food, staff were really helpful at recommending dishes. Dont think i will ever stay in another hotel in Stockholm, and will hopefully be back next year!!!!

Another excellent 5 star Sheraton hotel with spacious comfortable rooms, in a great location beside the central station and just a bridge away to the Gamla Stan Island! Friendly, helpful and pleasant reception and bar staff especially Dimitri & Katarina. The 50% room sale offers exceptional value for money in an otherwise expensive city!

We had requested via booking.com a large double bed and were put into a room with two very small double beds. This made the room feel slightly claustrophobic and was unnecessary. We were able to change rooms for the 3rd and 4th nights.

Environment Internet too expensive, as a 5 star hotel, we were not informed about the buffet they had for new years eve. Despite the fact that we had breakfast and dinner the previous night no one told us about the buffet. We were looking for restaurants outside the hotel where majority of them were closed for new years eve. Breakfast was disorganized I.e location of foods and staff.

The location is perfect if you are in town for a few days. We booked a Superior Room (with a view) and they gave us a room on the 2nd floor with a view of the road and two queen beds when we booked a king size bed room... When requested to change the room the staff were responsive and we were transferred one floor up. The room did not have a bath - shower only. There is no swimming pool or a hot tub in the hotel.

Staff very pleasant and helpful, rooms spatious with comfortable big soft beds. It is very clean, though you can choose when do you want your towels and linen changed. I read here a lot of complaints about slow lifts and crowded reception, but we didn't see any of it. Waiting for lifts is no more than 10 seconds, really. The hotel is in the walking distance from all the main attractions and shopping streets, but if you prefer to use bus or metro, the bus stop is in front of the hotel, and the metro 3 minutes walk. All the metro lines stop at this T-Centralen stop, so the location couldn't be better, between the contemporary and the historical part of the city. I would definitely recommend it, and go back myself. No free WiFi in the rooms is really annoying, but there is a possibility to use internet from the bar downstairs. If you don't want to actually sit in the bar and have a drink, you look a bit like an idiot standing in the corner, checking your email. Also if you book a standard room you will not get a sea view, because it's not a matter of luck but you are offered to pay extra, which is ok, though it should be mentioned during the reservation process maybe. We didn't have the breakfast, because it was too expensive.

Location, great breakfast buffet, nice restaurant. Breakfast on the ground floor is much better than that of the club lounge. No mocket, no heating by the window, no bathtub. Rather chill. They could not provide us a double room as requested. Forced to upgrade for club room in additional cost. Finally we got the room we have booked according to the picture but for twice price.
