The staff are very friendly and helpful I had a late dinner in the restaurant during the Autumn / Winter as I didn't feel inclined to go out searching for food in the cold and rain, unfortunately the food was close to inedible. Sorry to say but I will definitely be eating out during my next visit.

The restuarant and the girls in the reception did an exelent job I got a room in the older part of the hotell, the standad was old. The radiators was not turned on so it was very cold.

Skara Stadshotell is an old, nice building. The family room was big with comfortable beds, but it was a bit worn and could need a renovation. The room was cleen and the bathroom was ok. Scanty with toiletry. Simple, but good breakfast. I would definitely go back another time! The location was very good. Skara is a tiny little town and the hotel is situated in the middle, close to a park, restaurants, cafes, museums and the beautiful cathedral.

Good bar + restaurant, easy parking, friendly efficient staff Room unexpectedly hot I.E. no air con. Also woken up every morning early by bin collection in courtyard onto which our room was facing - a combination of both these factors did result in neither myself or my wife getting a good nights' sleep for the three nights stayed at the hotel.In future I would ask for a room not facing the courtyard.

The hotel was very convenient for access to natural parks etc. Skara is a very nice town. The people were friendly. The buffet breakfast was very good and the restaurant had a good choice for the evenings. I was given a room above a very noisy bar area which made it impossible to sleep. The room was very hot and I was unable to open the windows because of the noise. Other guests would be advised to insist on rooms not above the bar area and which have curtains that fit the windows. Some rooms have curtains that don't fit the windows properly and this also means it is difficult to sleep because of the light and on hot days those rooms get very hot.

Central place in Skara with a very nice outdoor bar Bar staff played music until 2am - couldn't sleep and have felt like in a cheap Spanish Hotel.

Good service, spacious room, great breakfast, way beyond our expectations! Shower splashed everywhere and the light at the sink did not work, did not tell staff as we only stayed for a quick night, I am sure they would have fixed.

Nice hotel, centrally placed in Skara. Lots of attractions within walking distance. Close to famous nature reserves at Hornborgasjön and Kinnekulle by car. The hotel held a loud discoteque Saturday evening, and played music untill 2 o' clock in the morning. There were no dinner serving Saturday and loud music in the hotel. The guests were not informed beforehand. Because of good isolation of the building, it was almost quiet in the rooms.

Proffessional Staff /Nice Room/ Good Location / Parking at Hotel Space/ Very nice breakfast. No heating in Bathroom. Staff could`t help but promised it should be fixed the day after. Could have been checked before our arrival.

Läget var bra. Gnekande sängar, kändes billiga för att vara hotellsängar. Gym under rummet som drog igång hög musik vid 10-tiden på lördag förmiddag, gick knappt att vila. Rum med utsikt mot innergård med lastkaj - tråkig utsikt. Frukost ok. Men inte mer. Hotellet känns väldigt slitet, inte vad man räknar med I den prisklassen och 4 stjärnor.
