Dinner was provided. Spacious rooms.

Had to pay parking fees to park outside our rooms. No benches in bathroom.

Interesting place with great history, near the city center and the castle. Nice and helpful people. Big, comfortable rooms, better than in many "better" hotels. Tasty food and free evening meal! o_O

No english info in the restaurant. There was also power outage in the evening (but probably without hotel fault).

Location, charm of hotel, friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Would definitely go back. Kalmar is charming aswell...we enjoyed visiting the castle!

Breakfast, friendly staff

Spacious room with a king size bed. Breakfast and dinner served there made it easy to spend our time visiting the castle and surrounding area rather than looking for a good place to eat. Easy to walk to the castle and also to enjoy some concerts as we were there on a weekend music festival.

Hard to find the office as we hadn't been told the office was a different bldg. across the street from the annex bldg. we were staying at.

Good position if you want to visit the isle of Oland, the so called Swedish Riviera and if you want to visit historical remains, such as the Castle that is at a walking distance. We have appreciated the light dinner which was good and free.

Breeakfast is full and good but narrow the room in which it is served, so it seems as if it isn't well organized, e.g. there are no trays, guests have to go and get food several times.

I liked the location of the hotel and the design.

At night 1 day before check out the hotelportier took money from my credit card the second time, he told me that it will be return at noon the day I chek out, but 4 days have already passed and I still didn't get it back.

We loved the historic feature of the buildings. For a visitor from Canada to see how old buildings have been turned into wonderful hotels was fantastic, The grounds were lovely and the view across the street from the castle and a lovely park was awesome. We weren't sure if there was really an evening meal included, but to our delight it was. The meals were excellent. We loved this hotel- although by North American standards Swedish hotels are expensive, this was worth it. There was also a lovely lounge where coffee and tea was always available. The decor here matched the era of the hotel.

Trevligt hotell med både tradition och budgetalternativ. Enklare kvällsvard ingår i priset. Trevlig personal.

Tyckte nog om allt, det va skönt att komma till ett stort rum och all stress rann av mig. Fick verkligen ta det lugnt den helgen!

Lite negativt var att man hörde från dom andra rummen.

Mycket trevlig personal. Vackra gamla möbler. Mat på kvällen Fantastiskt läge.

Fulla och gapiga personer som kom hem kl 4.00 på natten.

Bra läge och fräscha rum.

Kvällsbuffen serverades lite för sent. Vi skulle iväg till travbanan och hann inte äta innan.

Läget var utmärkt, trevlig personal, helt ok rum. Vi önskade tidigare frukost och det var inga problem, god med stort utbud. Kvällsmat ett stort plus, väldigt gott. Bemanning dygnet runt perfekt. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka.

Ett litet minus kanske för att det saknades handdukar och personal som inte trodde oss först. Löste sig dock smidigt. Inget större problem.

God beliggenhed, stort værelse og fin morgenmad. Herudover aftenbuffet. Hovedbygninger er et meget smukt ældre hus med hyggelig dagligstue.

Desværre var wifi forbindelsen ude af drift på vores værelse størstedelen af tiden, mens vi var der.

Na madrugada do dia 27/04/13 (sabado) os hospedes do quarto 705 fizeram muito barulho das 02 as 04 horas da manhã. Acionei a recepção, o funcionario veio imediatamente e o barulho parou, mas minutos depois tudo reiniciou. O hotel poderia informar à rede booking.com os nomes desses hóspedes, para conhecimento dos hoteis que esses hóspedes podem trazer mais confusões, são persona non grata. Uma vez que não consegui dormir, e outros hóspedes também, o hotel poderia me devolver o valor de uma diária, poderia até cobrar dos hóspedes que promoveram o barulho.

Bodde i den gula längan. Såg lite slitet ut på utsidan men väl inne så var det helt annat. Trevliga rum och jättebra och god frukost och middag!

Ett trevligt hotell med bra läge. Frukostbuffen jättebra och mycket rikligare än många betydligt dyrare hotell. Bra rum med ett litet pentry. Ett litet gratis kvällsmål (Janssons pastagratäng el likn och soppa bröd o sallad )

Hade gärna satt mig i salongen med en kopp kaffe och en tidning. Den sobra atmosfären stördes av en enerverande kylfläkt eller liknande.

Bra läge. Jättesköna sängar. Tyst. Lagom promenad tll centrum, man kunde gå dit flera gånger om dagen. Bra frukost. Bra rum som fungerar till billig penning.
