Budgetfriendly hotel. Not that close to the city centre but close to a tram stop. Breakfast was ok for the price. Room was not that clean. Not everyone of the staff was that friendly.

Conveient. Safe parking. Super breakfasts with many choices including herring and Swedish pancakes plus the usual offerings. Clean with comfortable sheets. Storage space for two carry on suitcases inconvenient in small double room.

We stayed in a small double. The room was just as it was described on the site. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was excellent for a budget hotel. Underground secure parking was included as was excellent wifi. We were easy driving and tram distance from the center and our work location. Highly recommend the Volvo Museum. We will return to this hotel the next time we go to Goteborg. Smokers standing by the entrance.

The Spar Majorna is located on a tram line that makes it very easy and inexpensive to get around Gothenburg. Neighborhood is a little funky, but several good restaurants within a short walk, and you can always go to the Center on the tram if you want more "action:. Hotel design is nice "Mid 20th Century Scandinavian Modern". Staff is very friendly and helpful. Given that this is a nice hotel in the center of a major city in Sweden, prices are quite reasonable, but it's not cheap. Instant coffee machine at breakfast, loses one star with me everytime. Single room to compact, I'll upgrade to a double next time, even if by myself.

the hotel was really nice and clean. the staff were really nice and helpfull. the rooms were clean and bathroom was great. the breakfast was really nice and the entertainment was great. we really enjoyed the pool area and the sauna. its the best hotel i have stayed at in Gotenburg so far. excellent!

Price ok for what you get, what you need and no more. Clean and efficient. They started clearing the breakfast buffet 5 good minutes before 11 am, making me feel unwelcome. The cleaning person left my window wide open despite -5c outside, my room was cold when I got back at night so I couldn't sleep.

The room was nice and tidy. The breakfast was very good. The staff is friendly. If I will go again to Gotheburg I will choose again this hotel. I stayed in a room with 2 twin beds and I have to stay that they are to small. A disadvantage was also the tram. We stayed at the 5th floor and every time the tram was passing the front of the hotel you could hear it really loud.

Clean and nice design friendly staff. The 140 cm is intended as a double bed?? Impossible to stay in 2 persons taller than 1,80. The room is about 3 mt x 2,5. No space for the second luggage. Not so close to the city center. Not a good view.

It was not my 1st stay in Majorna Hotel and if not had fit previously, for sure would not have chosen again.Employees have been friendly,room again clean and cosy , the chips and salsa in cafetria tasty again this stay.Included free of charge parking is a additional plus.I will choose again for next buiseness trip if aviabile If you are women and have heavy luggage try to avoid room in 7th floor as the elevator only go till floor level 6 otherwise no complain.
