The style and design - unusual, modernist, atmospheric, arty...The cafe with candles on tables for breakfast! Very clean and quiet. Quirky design. Gorgeous wash-hand basin. Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in my room. I had not realised that I was charged on the day I booked - did not read the small print - that came as a surprise, though it made checking out simple. Would be good to be able to operate bedside lights from the bed - was never apparent how to do it! Distressed wallpaper/cement wall etc is arty but not very warm and welcoming so maybe a design element too far? |

This is trendy, friendly, well equipped hotel that couldn't be better placed - right in the centre of Stockholm. Excellent bar and restaurant. |

It had a new concept with minimum number of employees almost no reception but a vey good restaurant and a popular bar . What i liked most was that they immediately sent an e-mail for self check-in before our arrival . There are no keys you only have to remember the code . Breakfast is very good . |

The shower. The wash hand basin. The TV. The crockery in the restaurant. My room was absolutely freezing, even when I discovered the radiator and turned it up full blast. This probably reflects my opinion of the hotel in general. It's cold. It's cool, in more ways than one. It's cool to have Beatles lyrics pasted to your bedroom wall, but that doesn't help when your nose and feet have turned blue in the night and you're numb with cold. I prefer to be greeted by human beings rather than computers, and made to feel welcome. I prefer light, warmth, ambiance, atmosphere, kettles, tea, cookies, extra blankets, friendly faces, the personal touch. All of this is sacrificed at the Story hotel, in the name of 'cool'. |

Ideal departure place to discover the city, very central and trendy. Close to a lot of good restos and shopping area. Very nice environment and total package. Bohemien style, which makes it different than the standard hotels, is the differentiator. Although less relevant, the outside of the hotel does not give the same impression as the inside, from the outside it looks like nothing special. But once inside you discover how nice it is. |

Service from the very friendly staff was excellent The heater in the room was not working well which made it quite cold during the nights. This was the only drawback as the outdoor temperature was only around 10 degrees |

I really liked the hotel. Very tastefully decorated, designer/bohemian chic but not pretentious or overdone. Helpful and nice staff. Very central location. Normally I do not eat in hotel restaurants but this one also had an exceptionally good one, actually the dinner I had there was the best I had in Stockholm, so highly recommended. The breakfast was also good, though if you expect a huge buffet with all kinds of things, you may be disappointed. But instead of stuffing the buffet with things that are not eaten much and looking tired and not really fresh there due to laying on the table for a long time, they had just the good amount of choice, all very fresh and good quality and constantly replenished by the attentive staff. My room was right on top of the bar (no.104) and I was disturbed by the music from time to time. Tea at the breakfast could have been better, it was served in a huge ceramic pot placed no tıo ıfa few candles, which were not enough to keep it warm and the tea was also too weak for my taste. It would be better to simply have hot water and tea bags available instead. |

Excellent central location close to metro, downtown, and museums. The breakfast is delicious and the hotel restaurant is also wonderful for dinner. The design is very sleak and arsty, which was very nice. |
