Strand Hotel    

The room was very spacious and lovely. The breakfast was good and the location of the hotel was perfect. The staff were very helpful.

Not the most comfortable bed. No on-site car parking.

Views of river and park. Elegant historical decor of rooms.

Self check-in on Sunday afternoon.

The hotel is situated in a floor of a beautiful old house located i the very center by the river. Charming atmosphere .

All is well until a dog belonging to owner or staff walks into the diningroom during breakfast. For me that is unacceptable. People with allergies should look elsewhere.

One of the most charming hotels I've stayed in. Beautiful building and decorated in the most fabulously OTT way. Very comfortable and lovely lounge and library.

there appeared to be no sound proofing so could hear everything in the corridors outside my room.

It is a family hotel.They have about 10 rooms. It's homely. Very nice. During the day you can take coffee a biscuit. The people from the Hotel are very kind.

There is one small thing. We stay there a view days and every morning it was the same background music.

The hotel was extremely close to the train station and its view was very pleasant. The decoration was very warm and elegant. The people were also warm and helpful. The hotel was an experience itself. It is a place where one can enjoy the city by walk and enjoy herself by just sitting and having a cup of coffee at the lobby.

We stayed in this hotel during business trip. Strand hotel is really unique! Even single rooms are quite spacious, and all the rooms are decorated in their own style - very intersting! The breakfast is served in wonderful room with antique atmosphere. Hotel staff (in fact hotel family) was very helpful and welcoming - we really appreciated that kind and warm attitude. Among other things - hotel is very good situated and has a good speed of wi-fi. Will definately recommend thi splace to my colleagues and friends!

Interior design with good taste, with attention to detail, beautiful. It feels like being in a home rather than in a hotel. Loved the mixed vintage blue plates in the breakfast room! Excellent location also, close to the railway station, an added bonus was the beautiful view from the room overlooking Motala stream.

Hyggelig, herskabelig indretning. Te i salonerne med et interessant bibliotek, hvor man frit kunne blade i bøgerne

Ett hotell med personlig stil. Inte trista standardrum utan själ, utan trivsamt ombonat och charmigt. Och en fantastisk frukost till stans kanske bästa utsikt!

Skulle vara roligt med lite mer miljöfokus, t.ex. med ekologiska matvaror. Det hade gett Strand Hotell full pott.

saknade minibar.

Det er vakre værelser og oppholdsrom med gamle møbler. Stemningen er god. Frokosten var bra.

Det var ett jättefint rum.

Dåligt att inte äggröra o bacon inte ingick i frukosten. Tyckte det luktade lite illa när man kom in vid receptionen. Dåligt att det inte fanns ngt i kylen på rummet.
