This hotel is situated on the shores of Lake Mälaren in Eskilstuna, just a 1-hour drive or train ride from Stockholm. It offers free Wi-Fi and lake views. Sundbyholm Slott’s guest rooms are located on the grounds of a small 1640s mansion. All rooms have a seating area and work desk. Most rooms offer views of Lake Mälaren and the harbour. Sundbyholm’s suites have a separate living room and a spa bath. Some suites also have their own sauna. Guests can dine in style at the Castle Restaurant, which also offers views of the lake. Schöne Lage am Mälarsee, gutes Frühstück. Diese mußte aber im dunklen Kellergewölbe des "Schlosses" eingenommen werden, da auf der Terrasse nicht gedeckt wurde. Habe eigentlich gedacht, dass die Hotelzimmer im "Schloss" sind. Die Zimmer befinden sich in einem separaten Gebäude, das stufenförmig in den Hang gebaut ist. Kein Aufzug im Gebäude, die Zimmer sehr klein. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier überhaupt nicht, dasselbe gilt auch für das Restaurant im Schloss!! Nur teuer und mit schlechtem Service.

Vackert läge anrik bebyggelse, fina juniorsviter och för oss närheten till Travbanan med NM för Islandshästar Det var för långt mellan vår svit och frukosten som severades i slottet man kanske skulle kunna lägga den i samma hus som receptionen!
