Hotel Surte  

Good price and location near Kungälv. Went to watch our children attending a figure skating competition in Kungälv ice/hockey arena over the weekend.

No area to sit and meet in the evening. No restaurant in evening.

wireless internet was promised to be available at my room. as it turned out I was able to got my internet connection only at the hallways, not in my room. unfortunately the staff couldn`t do anything much about it. p.s. - the breakfast was good!

We had to stay in hotel surte because the remaining hotels were fully booked. In the introduction, it was saying that its 10 minute drive from city centre. In actual, it was taking half an hour and the amount for taking a taxi from surte to city centre was incredible. We were mistaken. There were no facility in the hotel. There was nothing around. When you become hungry, there is almost nothing to eat around the hotel after 9PM because the hotel is so isolated. There is no special service in the hotel as well. There is even no hairdryer in the hotel. For such a quality, it was so expensive to pay for nothing.

The room itself, and communal areas, were clean & tidy.

Roadworks to the dual carriageway to Goteborg & Surte town centre makes it an unpleasant place to get to. Breakfast quality & options were poor. The WiFi has some extra encryption which I'm not clever enough to understand. The hotel is aware that your gps device may well take you to a non-descript crossroads 20 miles north - a small caveat on their listing would have been appreciated, but was lacking.

Only 10 minutes from Gothenburg centre by car.

Room very small for 4 people, with low quality beds. Very low quality of cleaning. general conditions are very poor.

Location, close to the main road but quiet and only 20 minutes from Gothenburg City airport

The price.

Clean, basic and cheap! It is what it is. Bus stop right outside takes you to city centre in a10 minutes and runs every half hour.

It is like a traveller stop more than a hotel. But clean and we spent all our time out anyway. Don't go there for the luxury.

Hotel Surte is more for like working men. There are a lot of men who work on the road or at the Saab Factory. The hotel is across the highway (thank God I'm hard of hearing ;o)). There is nothing in the neighbourhood. It's not for holiday. If we knew this, we would never have gone there.

Slightly outside Gothenburg so you can feel safer leaving your car. This also means a lower price for the rooms. It's still only 20min by car from the centre of Gothenburg. Good location at a fair price. Roomy, clean and good enough wlan.

Apparently the Sunday breakfast is a bit more spartan than normal weekdays. You can still vary your choices a fair bit, but only two types of white bread?

Hotellet serverar frukost kl 8.00 på helger. Det blev lite brått för oss pga att vi skulle på en skjuttävling, men med god service fick vi frukosten serverad 7.30 tack det var mycket snällt av er:)
