Hotel Surte  

I have stayed at my friends' in Surte many times before, so I am well familiar with the place, because of that I have chosen this hotel. It is tipical budget swedish hotel with enough comfortable and neat rooms. Since I did not spend much time at the hotel it was just ok for me.

Some days I was not able to get connected to WiFi in my room and had to get closer to the reception to get connected, that was not very convenient. But that was not a big deal.

Good price and location near Kungälv. Went to watch our children attending a figure skating competition in Kungälv ice/hockey arena over the weekend.

No area to sit and meet in the evening. No restaurant in evening.

We had to stay in hotel surte because the remaining hotels were fully booked. In the introduction, it was saying that its 10 minute drive from city centre. In actual, it was taking half an hour and the amount for taking a taxi from surte to city centre was incredible. We were mistaken. There were no facility in the hotel. There was nothing around. When you become hungry, there is almost nothing to eat around the hotel after 9PM because the hotel is so isolated. There is no special service in the hotel as well. There is even no hairdryer in the hotel. For such a quality, it was so expensive to pay for nothing.

Cheap in comparision to the other hotels

Very hot in the room (August 24-27).Not enough space for four people in Family room.Breakfast is not various.

Uninterested staff. Poor facilities, poor surroundings. No meals - except for breakfast, which was served in a room with much to small capacity for the guests in question (we had to be waiting for a seat). Expensive rate, quality taken into consideration.

The staff was not service minded, was busy talking on their privat phone, and did not smile at all.

Location, food, facilities, friendly staff.

Very poor ventilation in the room, hardly slept at all.

Tillgång till fri Wifi, bra golvmaterial i rummen.

Dubbelsängarna i smalaste laget, liggkomforten kunde varit bättre, tv:n kunde varit lite större och bättre men den fungerade i alla fall.

Priset

Receptionisten, ung tjej, sur och trumpen som döpt i ättika! Internetuppkopplingen fungerade inte.

Vi bodde där från långfredag till påsklördag. En sak var inte bra på frukostbordeT: Brödet var inte färskt.Om det inte gick att skaffa fram bröd till denna morgon hade de ju kunnat frysa ner färskt och ta fram.
