Nothing to do in the town on weekends
Standard on the room
Nice location, good breakfast
Pricy, very basic (no tv, poor wifi) (atleast in Skytten)
Location in the middle of town, budget-friendly accommodation.
Rude staff, free breakfast was most poor offered breakfast I have ever eaten in any hotel/motel/hostel! Room was dirty and smelled like a morque. Shower didn't work properly.
OK option for overnight, cheap and clean. No more than that.
Very warm during summer night, lacks a fan.
In a little town, the Sve-Fi is in a good place and feels like part of the spirit of the city. The main building is beautiful from the inside. If you are a Finn, remember to use Finnish, so you get an answer in the very nice-sounding local type of Finnish.
Well, it's a bit unhandy that there's no reception in the weekend, but it is understandable. The key locker system worked well.
The design of the room is really lovely and really like the common rooms.
the reception not open after 5 pm.
no lift, had a musty smell in room. Very expensive for what you get.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There's not much to do in Haparanda so we ended up walking to Tornio. Everything is fairly close. Europe's largest candy store is in the same area as the IKEA. Breakfast was good.
Our room was very spartan, like an unfurnished dorm room with no TV. While the price was good, I felt it should have been even less expensive considering the lack of amenities.
Old school building is really beautiful.
Really no parking place close to our building.
Reasonable price, nice breakfast room!
Reception has very limited hours and while sensible arrangements are made for picking up a key (they text you a keybox code), it all felt pretty impersonal. My room was in an Annex across the other side of the square which felt a bit sparse, but would be fine for budget travellers. Haparanda itself is a bit of a one-street town, better to stay on the Finnish side in Tornio/Tornea.
I liked the peacefulness, it is an uncommercial hotel.
