Goed ontbijt, goede locatie tov het centrum.

Het bed vond ik niet lekker liggen. Verder vond ik het een nadeel dat je het raam niet open kon laten omdat de kamer op de begane grond was gelegen en er geen airco aanwezig was. Tenslotte had de badkamer een open douche ( wel met douchegordijn maar de hele badkamer was nat na t douchen. Geen goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding al met al.

We had a very pleasent 2 night stay in this hotel, very central just a 7 minute walk from the train station cross the street and turn right along Kungsgatan. Rooms simply furnished but clean and warm also bright, spacious and quiet. A good choice for breakfast including fabulous bread, real cheese and reasonably good coffey all in a lovely dining area. The scottish theme bar had a real buzz to it unlike many hotel bars. Staff friendly and helpfull and like most in sweden speak perfect english. Very relaxed atmosphere and reasonably priced by swedish standards

Just something minor, the hotel sign is a bit small and positioned high on the building, a slight problem when you are trying to find the place for the first time.

- Room had a very modern feel - Breakfast in the morning was very good - Staff was very friendly

- Room felt very bare - WiFi connection was poor to average - Very few amenities. No iron in the room, bathroom design seemed a bit odd; after taking a shower, it is very difficult to use the bathroom for any other purpose since there is water all over the floor. - Bathroom towels were not restocked; I used the same towel all week.

The hotel had all I needed. Clean, all confort, and all above pointed.

There was a disagreable noise of a ventilation that disturbed my sleep. I think it came from outsida.

Nice, spatious rooms with a big bathroom, which is rare in hotels in Sweden. Big bed, mineral water/coffee/tea for free in the room. Good breakfast.

The room was a bit cold and apparently with no possibility of turning up the heat to a satisfactory level? The parking facilities was a bit expensive.

Pricing was all right, reception staff was friendly & expedient. Even asked of their own accord whether I needed wifi access. (Doesn't happen a lot in my experience!) Great central location, yet not too noisy. Breakfast was excellent.

Overall pretty shoddy: carpeting, furniture, hall floors - all could do with a thorough refurbishing. One of my towels had a big hole in it. No minibar in the room. Rooms service was VERY slack and uncooperative: left the room at 10:10 AM and returned to an unmade room at 02:10 PM. Maid was next door, claimed the room wouldn't be finished before 03:00 PM at the earliest because she was going for lunch break now. Went down to reception to inquire about this - they did a bit of telephoning, then told me everything would be all right. When I asked what that was supposed to mean, they said that doing the room would start in 20 minutes! Lots of irritating to and fro until they eventually got another cleaner to do it within half an hour... This is not what I'd call a great hotel experience.

Large rooms and ours was equipped with small kitchenette w micro and wash basin. Excellent beds Great breakfast with so much choice that you get variation over the week. Nice next door pub with introduction discount for hotel guests.

Clean and uncomplicated rooms. Maybe a bit austere even but quite OK. Good breakfast buffe.

No air-conditioning in room, little bit small room, and the breakfast area. The hotel decor need a little refurbishment in some areas. No own parking, the parking is only available in parking building, with extra cost.

Could be spruced up a bit - also put me into a budget room when I had paid for a normal one - reimbursed me with three vouchers for the bar, which I couldn't use because the bar was shut!

Great breakfast! Big room.

Hotel Uppsala are very well placed for pepole that want to see the main places e.c. the church and slottsbakken. Also for pepole that wants to shop and walk in the centrum.

The beds was too hard and the pillow was too small. There was no refrigerator at the room and too much noices from the street. Also we wanted to have one big bed insted of two single beds.

Despite the look from outside it is a very nice modern hotel with big, clean rooms for people who don´t want to spent a fortune on their accomodations. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious and plenty with lots of variety. We asked for a room to the backyard and that was very quite, clean and enough space. there where two bicycles for free to rent at the receptions. (first come first serve)

Here and there it is a little old fashioned (e.g. bathrooms, elevators) but still clean and functional. We didn´t mind at all :-)
