Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa  

The staff were very friendly and helpful. After a rocky start where our rooms were not ready when we arrived, our impression greatly improved thereafter. We were given breakfast as part of our nightly rate even when this had not been mentioned before. The front desk staff were also excellent in helping us organise taxis, trips etc. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the toiletries were very good and were replenished very regularly. The swimming pools were nice but the hotel could have done with a more international lunch/dinner restaurant option.

Just as above, with children we had to always go out for lunch and dinner as there weren't any international child friendly restaurant options. The outdoor swimming pools in the garden were nice but were not in the sun so the water was very cold!We could also have done with being advised about hotel transport options when we checked in, such as the Vivo City shuttle bus and the cart to Palawan Beach - we just found out these options near the end of our trip.

Very peaceful. The rooms and bed smell great with the aroma which it make sleep better.

The drawer is slighty old When closing there is a loud bang. Maybe good if there is bath rode is provided.

My sis family and I spent a short stay (2N) in the resort. We were happy to find that most of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and attentive to our needs. They made us felt welcomed. I guess this is the first thing one would look for when on a holiday in a resort. I remember while relaxing in the hotel lobby, seeing one of the hotel staff with the resort map with him, was actually sitting with a couple who just checked in and went thru a list of things-to-do in the resort. As for the rooms generally they are spacious enough with fairly good set-up. I enjoyed most the sea view and greens from my room when I woke up in the morning. My little 2 1/2-year old niece was very excited and happy to watch the parrots on the trees just outside my window. Overall this place is suitable for both family, children and honeymooners or even anyone who wishes to have a short breakaway from daily work stress. I certainly would recommend to my friends and family.

The room is beautifully designed with excellent facilities. Conveniently located at a bus station (blue line), you have easy access to all of the resorts and attractions of the Island.

I booked a room with twin beds but I was actually assigned a single-bed room first. Time of my stay at Sentosa is limited, but it took long time for the staff to rearrange my room with twin beds. The receptionist is not very responsive and failed to answer several calls I made after 12am.

The contemporarily design of exterior and interior. The skypool is small but cozy. The breakfast is delicious and the staffs are prompt. Parking is free and some what available always!

The keycards should have the room number printed on. Not a big issue but it's for the convenience of the elderly.

I strongly appreciated that the hotel keeps a taxi on standby. It really helped when I was in a rush. Taxis are difficult to come by on Sentosa.

As a luxury hotel, the rooms should be in ready and excellent condition from the time a guest steps inside. The bathroom floor was dusty, as if it was not vacuumed, and the rainshower head was faulty, and was not fixed even after asking the front desk to arrange for repair. Only one pair of bathroom slippers was found in the room, which was booked for 2. When ordering room service, my selection of breakfast tea was not accompanied with any kind of milk or cream. This is not normal.

Friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to assist us with any requests and requirements we needed.

Away from crowds, exclusive site. Lots of greenery, close to nature.

Location is excellent if you want to go to Universal World - not within it, which would be too busy, but just near enough to walk to it and yet can maintain peace and quiet when you want it.

Although the hotel offers three swimming pools, they are either too deep (more than 4 feet : hotel policy says for adults only) or too shallow (less than 2 feet). This does not cater to children who are neither toddlers nor teenagers.

Staff were friendly and helpful, they make sure one gets the best they can offer. Rooms were big enough to accomodate us. How I wish there was a balcony but as it is, it was good enough. We went to the Dream Pool and relaxed there while the kids had a swim.

The Service is excellent. Felt very relax and comfortable during our stay.

Amara's staff was very friendly with me,I thank them very much, Amara is really 5 star hotel everything is excellent rooms, resturant, housekeeping and location. "Amara is my home in Singapore".

Villas was very nice place. Private pool was fantastic. So kind peoples, and hospitality. It was very nice place. Wanna stay more. Again.

Breakfast was little... Not bad.
