Broadway Hotel195 Serangoon Road, Little India, 218067 Singapore (Show map) Review score 6.8 Score from 118 reviews“It is in the midst of a busy shopping area and have good connexions to travel to other places in singapore. ”

Clean and comfortable accommodations are available at Singapore's Broadway Hotel. Right across from the 24-hour Mustafa Shopping Centre, it is just a 5 minute walk from Farrer Park MRT Station. Close to the sights and sounds of colorful Little India, Broadway Hotel is less than 30 minute drive from Changi Airport. Taking the MRT, it will take less than 15 minutes to reach the shopping areas of Orchard Road. Cozy rooms at Broadway come with air conditioning and a private bathroom with shower. Each is equipped with a satellite TV, tea/coffee maker and personal safe. Guests can approach the friendly staff for more information on day trips or the various tourist attractions at the hotel's tour desk. Broadway also provides laundry and dry cleaning services. Delhi Restaurant serves authentic Indian cuisine with vegetarian options, while Ole Ole Roadside Cafe serves a variety of local dishes in an open-air environment. Hotel Rooms: 65

Excellent location, nice comfortable rooms with all the facilities that are required. Staff is nice, helping and supportive. Very close to 2 metro stations - Little India and Ferrar Park. An excellent deal for the type of money you are spending in Singapore. We didn't want any 'extra frills' hotel as we only had to come at night, for which I found it an excellent place to be.

It's very conveniently located for those who are in the city for a trip or for shopping and especially for those looking for Indian Food. Maybe the hotel should give some more benefits or add-ons like free local calls and free wi-fi or make the price more competitive to make it a better choice. Please do not take it as a complaint but maybe if the prices are lowered by s$10-20 then it can become better value for money. Overall it's a good place.

Broadway was a good hotel, worth the money we paid. Especially the location being Little India, it was very comfortable for us since we had lot of options for food all around the hotel. The Delhi hotel in Broadway also provides good food. The staff at Broadway was also very friendly and cooperative. Except that our room was a bit small, we had no other issues during our stay. As for the room size, it would be better to clarify with the hotels before you book regarding the room size. We would definitely recommend hotel Broadway to our friends travelling to Singapore as it is a good and economic option.

I liked the location. Right in Little India. Plenty of shopping options. 2mts walk from Mustafa too. Several Indian restaurants. Including "Delhi Restaurant" in the hotel itself. Negatives : Several. Crammy room. The only table provided occupies space for TV and tea-maker. Need to adjust to accomodate lap-top. Only 2 power points. Have to unplug one (or both), for phone charging or pc. Indifferent staff attitude. Bath has no soaps, but liquid dispensers. What do I do for shampoo? Buy yours! Thank God AC was working fine.

The photographs are totally fake. Either the hotel is getting good business (so dont care) or thats the usual attitude of the front office staff but they deal with guests very rudely. even the basic requests are handled roughly as if they're doing you some kind of a favour and the tone of voice is high pitched like some school teacher in some strict school. The rooms were an average size. Not very spacious. We were given room on the 7th floor facing the road. For the kind of money they charge, its definitely not value for money. When all the other hotels offer free wifi in rooms, this hotel charges for it which is ridiculous. And they'll only sell 5 hour (non stop) packages. So who wants to travel to Singapore and stay holed up in the hotel for 5 hours. Why not sell hourly packages? They seem to know it yet they sell only 5 hour packages because its the attitude. Doesnt seem very smart business. The hotel seems to be managed by some very conservative people who dont give a damn about pleasing people. The attitude is "they're tourists, they're not going to come back anyway, so why not rip them off". They give Breakfast coupons for S$10 per room per day for the Indian restaurant next door. But the food there is so lousy that we ended up tearing the coupons and having breakfast elsewhere. The coupon system seems to be more to promote the restaurant than to serve the guests of the hotel. Overall, you get a sense that this hotel doesnt care about you as guests. They say that they have satellite tv in your room but only 4 chinese channels. The hotel seemed to be full of Indians but not a single English channel They charge you for the extra bed, but once you put the bed, there is hardly any walking space. and they wont give you an extra blanket. The AC is so small and installed in one corner that it wont cool the room. The shower in the bathroom has been installed not keeping the guests comfort in mind but to save water. The water pressure is so low that it'd take a long time to have a bath. In the evenings, right outside the hotel on the side walk, you see prostitutes standing around waiting for customers. So not a very nice place if your're travelling with your family or children. Most of the flights come in very early in the morning. When we came to the hotel tired after the flight, the hotel doesnt even have a lobby with seats for more than 2 guests. Rest have to either stand (max standing space is 8 people) or get out. They can politely say that they'll have a room available at 11AM. But they rudely tell you "You have to come back later, come back later", waving their hands to say go; as if you're at some kind of a shelter or something. It puts you off immediately. We know that even this feedback will not have any impact on their attitude. This is basically intended to warn others to avoid this place. Its too expensive for the service and their attitude stinks. Everything about this hotel is to rip you off. There are better places for the price. It leaves a bitter after taste in your mouth and spoils your vacation. Because you make your first impressions about Singapore and its people from the staff at the hotel that you stay in. And this hotel is a very bad ambassador for Singapore

The location is good in Down Town "Little India". Close to Public Transportation...and the bed was very confortable. The hotel did offer promotion for 3 nights and more, but this was obviously a lie...and because of the price range a Fridge was missing...

The staff were very friendly and polite. They offered their help and were always ready to assist you in anything. The service was also very good. Had a nice time there, the room was very spacious. The roof can be re-done, and the landlines should be fixed.

The hotel reception were very unfriendly. There were no toiletries supplied except for containers of soap on the walls! They did not even supply edible coffee or tea in the room although there was a jug. We did not receive a warm welcome with even a welcoming drink and no advice was offered on transport! To add insult to injury gst was added onto the rate on checkout. Without breakfast this was not a good value hotel as there was nowhere to find breakfast on a Sunday morning even! The adjoining restaurant was the worst indian food we have ever had, the food was cold and the lamb vindalooo was tough and tasteless. We would not stay here ever again.

Location is convenient, as situated in Little India, having many Indian restaurants, due to the Mustafa shopping centre, proximity to train (MRT) and bus services. Cleanliness and punctuality of staff excellent. No hidden cost, you can budget your stay expenses exactly. Overall, a good hotel for stay, worth value for your money. Just a minor point, since this hotel is located in on the main road (Serangoon Road), there is noise of vehicles passing by.

The size of the room compared to price is good. The shutters in the room were badly fitted and there were gaps in between them which made the room noisy from the traffic below. The shutters can easily be repaired and refitted.

We liked the friendly front desk staff especially while checking out. We also loved the food in the restaurant of the hotel.Especially the toodri roti was the best. The proximity to Mustafa was the main reason for choosing the hotel in the best rate available. Thanks & Best Regards, Nilesh Vichare & Fly. We would have liked if the hotels restaurant would have opened a little earlier so we could hv got good food in the hotel itself before leaving for a full day of sightseeing. Best Regards, Nilesh Vichare & Fly.

The location, 5 minutes walk to Farrer Park MRT. Right in the middle of Little India. Plenty of good and budget restaurants surrouding the hotel. 3-4 minutes walk to Mustafa Centre which is open 24-hour. Best suited location for Indians and for travellers who won't stay in the room for long. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Hotel staff friendly enough to let me check & change the room from front to back facing. TV has only 15-17 channels of which 1 is Hindi News and rest are either chinese or other languages (other than English). So, if you plan to stay in there is nothing other than No power point near the bed. Street can be noisy at night with bus noises since the hotel faces Serangoon road in front with bus stop right outside is just opposite. So, I had to change my room from front to a back facing room. Delhi restaurant is not a part of Broadway Hotel but is expensive.

Cleanliness ok, location V.good. Also cost-effective. The extra bed provided for my son (who is also an adult) in the double - bedded room was a temporary make-shift type of bed, and sleeping in it was indeed very difficult. Also, the room size was quite small to fit-in 3 beds. A bigger room could have been given since I had opted for 3 beds while booking the room at least 3 months earlier. The air- conditioner also became defective within the short period (I.E. 2 nights) of my stay.
