Novotel Clarke Quay  

Great location, good clean pool, well run and efficient

No milk in frig for tea, surface around pool slippery, prices for food high and not in line with what is around the hotel

First and formost its reputation. I've stayed at Novotel Hong Kong wiht my family and we all liked it. Second is its location. It is walking distance to a lot of eating places, both fine dining and fastfood. It has a mall where you can go shopping and/or relax at the spa (for a massage). It is a few minutes by cab to the theme parks and shopping malls. The staff and personnel are friendly and efficient. The airconditioning in our room was not fucntioning well. After I reported it, they had it checked and moved us to another room when the problem was not resolved. The personnel maning the Concierge are all very courteous and helpful. They are knowlegeable of all the means of transport to the places around. They would even suggest and recommend the best way going to a place. I will definitely stay again in Novotel Clarke Quay on my next trip to Singapore.

It is about the only hotel that takes in older children without extra charges. The housekeeping staff was especially nice during our stay. Very clean room, beddings and bath room. Walking distance to Clarke Quay MRT. Going to airport, after returning the card is only $2.20. Quite a happening place especially at night around Clarke Quay.

Only set back is that Internet usage is chargeable.

Room service staff is friendly receptionist staff is friendly although they have no good smile always and when we cant open room door there is no one helping us to open immediately. Facilities is good birthday cake is so so so damn delicious, good job chef

Bathroom shower had a leak so bathroom floor was wet. No hot water from bathroom basin tap. Mosquito bites overnight. Had to pay for internet access.

The breakfast buffet is excellent!

There was a major water leak in my bathroom roof. Water was pouring out of the light fittings when you turned the shower on. I am not an electrician, but it looked pretty dangerous!? I rang reception and they gave me another room no problem.
