Hotel 81 Elegance  

- Decent location. 10 min walk to Lavender mrt. Lots of buses oppsite of the street go to city centre as well. - Convenient. Food court just downstairs, Lavender hawker centre accross the street, and many other local eateries around. Easy to get cheap food! - Room and bathroom are quite clean and service is good overall.

- Room is very small. But it's Singapore, with this price you can't expect too much. - Bathroom (small too) has no windows or fan, hence no ventilation. - Wifi is free but have to log in each time (for each device) and use different usernames and passwords everyday, which is a bit annoying.

Cleanliness

Rooms are clean. Hotel overall is clean and comfortable.

Hotel location is far from MRT station.

Okay location, a bit off. Good value for the Money i guess

Cheap (comparatively), reasonable location.

Among the worst beds ever! Rock hard, vinyl bed (sheet slips, but you stick), terrible bedding, not fitted sheet (moves and falls off, scrunches up under you), you end up sleeping on bare vinyl. I had a cheap central room without a window which was a mistake! Air conditioning control panel is locked, it's freezing, you can't change it, and it blows right on you all through the night. I stayed 3 nights and felt like I was developing a chesty cold from sleeping directly beneath the air con on the worlds most uncomfortable bed. I wouldn't recommend staying more than 1 night.

Location

The behavior of front desk staff. Not friendly and purposefull to deprive the customer. ill behavior, very low human value.

The Hotel is clean, comfortable, service is good and friendly, there is coffee dan tea maker in the room, hot water for shower. The hotel near Foodcourt. 10-15 minutes walk to MRT. Near stasiun bus.

I believe the quality of the room, location, hotel facilities would command a room rate far lower than the $129 per night I paid. On my next visit I would be looking for a hotel with greater value.

Very small, and no window and bathroom small to no refrigerator and there is 1 socket for electricity so you can't charge more then 1 device and price for this room very very high I get 4 stars deluxe with breakfast less half price of this in Kuala Lumpur I don't think I will book it again never beds and bellows not comfortable at all, I feel they use material for that used for baby bed and like plastic under you like you will pee or something there is 2 Bellow only for big bed most of tv channels Chinese no closet at all or place to put your things or bags, u put bags on floor so you should jump to bed because no place to walk any more you feel like ant in box pictures not show this, you will see but it will be to late

The privacy of rooms. Basic facilities provided, towels, toiletries, bed, tv, wifi.

There was a glitch on the fire alarm. Kept going off in the middle if the night. Was relieved that it was a false alarm, but it went on almost throughout the night.

Hotel staff. They were very helpful.

Just the location.. but it is acceptable because it is really cheap hotel... Nothing fancy.

There was a problem with the air conditioning unit. It was not possible to adjust the intensity of cooling. Problem is exposed to staff and they explained that it was not possible to set the device in the room but it should be rather set centraly, anyway staff did not lower intensity of cooling after two request so we froze in the room. Also, room is to small without place where you could unpack.

We just stayed for 1 night, wanted a nice place in a quiet and safe zone. The hotel is located in a street full of small restaurants but a little far from the subway (15 minutes walk to Lavanda Station). The tv is big. The staffs were very helpfull and we could leave the baggage after the check out to walk around the city.

Location

Front office staff should be more customer friendly. Should have spa and massage facility of its own, business centre. The tv must have more popular channels like cnn,bbc,al.jazira and of indian most popular Asian channels.
