Buffet dinner was very good - breakfast was good but overpriced .Internet worked well but again overpriced - should be free. Frankly I was very disappointed with my stay at the Furama this trip - I am a regular customer at the hotel but this will have been the third time that it seems I have to fight to get the room that I booked. I booked a smoking deluxe as usual and for the third time I was offered an"upgrade" to their worst Executive club rooms which are located on the 6th floor right in front of the aircon or water cleaning vats that spray a lovely green ooze over the windows and make a heck of a noise. I politely declined this "upgrade" and then was told that they didn't have any more deluxe smoking rooms. After raising voice, one such room miraculously appeared. Quite frankly us travelers don't need this kind of hassle. Next time in Singapore I will be staying at another hotel. My colleague was also blatantly lied to as the receptionist serving him tried to tell him that they had only one smoking executive club floor whereas in fact they have club rooms on every floor and there are some 9 smoking floors. Get your act together !!! or make another smoking floor !!

The price was reasonable compared to other 4 star hotels in Singapore. Essentials such as complimentary mineral water and toiletries were replenished during our stay. The hotel seemed to be quite old, and had a slightly stale smell in the corridors. Also, the air-con control in our room was not working properly.

First they give me room cigarets smelling, after complaining, staff changed room for 5th floor and this one was ok. When I want to book taxi for next day, desk staff was surprised I do not know why. When check out staff at the desk want to charge me for chips & chocolate from mini bar which I not ate. So total defailure.

The staff were very helpful, there is lots to see in Singapore and the Furama is well located for sightseeing, the restaurant has an excellent (though quite expensive) breakfast and dinner buffets with a wonderful internation choice of dishes and there is a lovely swimming pool - much needed in a tropical climate! There was so much to like about the hotel and I would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore. WiFi is charged for at approx. £5 per 15minutes - although this may be standard practice in Singapore it seems mean and should be part of the service provided these days.

Furama riverfront is located at a decent location, preview of the hotel is fantastic. Room service is excellent, great overview of hotel with reasonable price. Cleaniness of hotel is slight above average. Swimming pool is not well maintain and does not have access to free wifi.

1. Near to the SG heritage sites e.g. Clark Quay 2. Out from the city and away from most crowds 3. More scenic and quiet. 1. Internet service or Wifi can be provided free. 2. Information Booklet for the surrounding tourist sites and food. 3. Shuttle service to popular areas I.e. Great World City, Sentosa, MBS, Vivo City

The Hotel is located a bit out of town however most areas are easily accessible by bus or train and we found it easy to walk home from Chinatown (about 20min). The breakfast at the hotel is really nice with a wide selection to accommodate most nationalities and dietary requirements.

The hotel has very bad parking facility and reception services. Marshal did not give directions to the alternative parking space when its carpark was full due to wedding functions. When I inquire about the parking charges incurred at the alternative parking space, the staff told me that complimentary ticket is only for parking at the hotel itself and i've to cover the charges on my own expenses at the alternative space. This is definitely not the service that i'm expecting. The operator on the phone wasn't polite as well when I called up from my room to check with the availability of the car park. Recep staff could not speak proper english and did not even inform about the breakfast time and venue. The hotel room looks dirty and the bed was not comfortable at all. Toiletries provided looks old and seems to be re-used.
