lifts are slow, room very humid even with airconditioning on

the ink on the room dashboard was mostly gone, so no easy to switch on a specific light. Light in the bathroom should be a bit stronger

Nice quiet location, 10 minutes walk from Clarke Quay MRT station.Rooms are large enough and clean, the pool is also ok.

No city view — metal grid just outside the window craps everything. 5th floor is too low :-)

Room is very spacious, nice and clean. Staffs are very polite and accommodating. Hotel Service is exemplary. The hotel is ideal for traveller who wants peaceful, quiet and relax mood. One thing I will be forever grateful during my stay is that my lost wallet was returned to me by the hotel staff. Imagine the mess when it was not returned at all, I will lost all my personal ID’s and my vacation plan will be spoil! Thanks a lot Vincent, you saved my day! An excellent hotel surrounded by great restaurants. Great service all around.

As so many departing guests fly out at night, many hours after check out, there should be a shower and change room available.

The location is good...

The room had dirty towels, and used toiletries! The bed had been used and not remade when we checked in. The staff sent us new towels, we had to call again to get them to take away the dirty towels! The maid straightened the bed for us but no clean sheets! On checkout, I heard 1 of the staff send 2 tourists on a 10 minute walk in the rain to catch a bus to town, totalling about 30 minutes walk and bus. The bus would cost them $2.80. a taxi from the hotel to the place they want to go would cost $3.80 and take 10 minutes! I told him off but he just rudely brushed it off saying they asked for the bus!

The Hotel was comfortable and relaxing. It was close to all the things we wanted to do and visit.

Our two rooms were not of equivalent value for money - one with a great view and the other had a view through the steel mesh.

Outstanding services. First gave me a wrong room. A room with 2 beds, which isn't going to work since I'm with my wife. Call and found out they checked me in with someone who has the same last name. Switch room right away. I left before my wife and arrange a late check out prior to me leaving. Wife was able to check out quick and easy. Free wifi. Staff is friendly. Room is clean, comfortable. Closed to Clarke Quay. After a couple of drinks, a romantic walk along the river back to the hotel.was nice.

Rooms are small and could do with a renovation, but are functional and well appointed - the bathroom mould buildup was concern

Being placed on a smokers' floor, which stank of cigarettes. Two lifts.

Discomfort bed. Use for too long period. Too soft and sink down when lying on top.

Another guest was given a key card to our room and let herself in which was not great at all. Also our key cards stopped working twice. I am pregnant and having to go all the way back down to the reception to have them fixed from the furthest corner on the 8th floor (via 2 lifts!!) is not ideal. We also didn't like the bathroom, it was very small and the toilet didn't flush properly.

Hotel didn't deliver anything as promised. Have been using hotels in Singapore for 40 years and this is the worst yet.

The hotel is undergoing renovations and rather than close off whole floors and try to keep down noise they locate guests within 2-3 rooms of rooms where not only noise is heard but the odour from glue and paint even permeates the hallways. Staff showed disinterest and all management is interested is chasing short term dollars. Worst in 40 years in Singapore.

I was pretty upset on the actual checking out date. I felt it was inappropriate for the staff to enter my room while my 'dont not disturb' sign is on. Furthermore, I feel that my privacy was violated as I fell asleep earlier that day half naked. One of the staff was holding the door widely open without considering the fact that I was half naked and l was visible to ppl walking outside my room. This incident all happened

Rooms were ok. One of the concierges was real helpful and friendly. Lots of riverside cafes close by. Great breakfasts at the cafe on the riverfront close to the hotel

A bit of a walk to the mtr and not clearly signposted. Gym hard to find. A bit overpriced but hotels in sg are never cheap. Lifts to rooms are a bit of a hassle. You really need a taxi to get to most places. Would probably not stay there again
